Well, I tell ya, this Dante Moore boy sure knows how to run like the wind. Back when he was in high school, he was runnin’ a 40-yard dash in just 4.38 seconds. Now, I ain’t no expert on these things, but that sounds like mighty quick feet to me. He did it at a Pittsburgh Panthers recruiting camp, and I reckon that time got him a lot of attention from folks who know a thing or two about football.
Now, I heard he went to college, played a bit at Oregon, and then, after a while, decided it was time for a change. I guess sometimes you just gotta move around to find the best place for you. From what I gather, Dante wasn’t too happy sittin’ on the bench at first, so after his freshman year, he figured it was time to find a team that’d help him grow. He hopped into that transfer portal, and before ya know it, he was talkin’ to Coach Lanning, who was quick to get back to him. I reckon Dante already had his mind set on Oregon at that point, so things worked out pretty good for him.
Now, folks sayin’ he’s about 6-foot-3 and weighs around 210 pounds. That’s a good size for a quarterback, ain’t it? Strong, tall, and able to see the field real well. But you know, the best thing about him ain’t just his size or speed, it’s his ability to think quick on his feet and make them plays when it counts. That’s somethin’ you can’t always measure with a stopwatch or a tape measure, no sir.
What really caught my eye though, was when I heard how he wrapped up his high school career with a 40-11 record. Now, that’s impressive! Forty wins and only eleven losses across four years? That’s a whole lotta W’s, if you ask me. It just goes to show he knows how to win and keeps his head cool under pressure.
Now, don’t think this boy’s just good on the field, oh no. Word is he’s got some pretty good smarts too. He got rated as a 5-star recruit by ESPN, which is somethin’ that don’t happen every day. I reckon there’s a lot of folks out there who see big things for him in the future.
And y’know, people say Dante Moore looks mighty good out there in practice too. He’s got a way of standin’ tall and throwin’ them passes like nobody’s business. I’ve even heard folks sayin’ he looked like one of the top quarterbacks down in San Antonio during the practices, and then really took his game up a notch in the Saturday game. That tells me he’s the kinda fella who rises to the occasion when the spotlight’s on him.
So, what’s next for Dante Moore? Well, he’s been playin’ for the Oregon Ducks now, and from all the buzz I’ve been hearin’, he’s doin’ just fine. He’s got the skills, he’s got the head for the game, and most importantly, he’s got that drive. If you ask me, we’ll be seein’ a lot more of him in the future, maybe even in the NFL one day. But no matter where he ends up, I reckon this boy’s got a bright future ahead of him.
So, next time you hear about Dante Moore, just remember: he’s got the speed, the size, and the smarts to make it big. He’s runnin’ the race, and I think he’s just gettin’ started.
