Alright, so I finally took the plunge and got that braun arm tattoo I’d been dreaming about. It’s something I’ve wanted for ages, and let me tell you, the whole process was quite an experience. I’ve always been fascinated by tattoos, but never really committed to getting one myself. But this design, a cool snake band, just kept calling my name.
First off, I spent weeks, maybe even months, just browsing through designs online and checking out different tattoo artists’ portfolios. I wanted something unique, something that really spoke to me. I knew I wanted a snake, after all, they symbolize good luck, wisdom and change, but I was overwhelmed by my options. I finally stumbled upon this awesome braun-colored snake band design that looked like an ancient Egyptian symbol. It was simple yet powerful, and I was immediately drawn to it.
Next up was finding the right artist. This was probably the most nerve-wracking part. I mean, this is going to be on my body forever, so I needed to find someone who not only had mad skills but also understood my vision. I asked around, read tons of reviews, and finally found this artist whose style was exactly what I was looking for. Their blackwork was incredible, and their line work was super clean.
I booked a consultation, and we chatted about the design, placement, and size. They were super professional and gave me some great advice on how to make the design even better. I felt really comfortable with them, which was a huge relief.
Then came the big day. I won’t lie, I was pretty nervous, but also super excited. The artist prepped my arm, put the stencil on, and I took one last look in the mirror before the buzzing started.
- The first line: Okay, this is it. It stings a bit, like a scratch, but totally bearable.
- Halfway through: My arm feels a little heavy, and the buzzing is getting a bit annoying, but I’m in the zone, watching this beautiful piece of art come to life on my skin.
- Almost there: Alright, now it’s starting to feel a bit sore, like a sunburn. But the end is in sight, and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
Finally, after about two hours, it was done. The artist cleaned it up, wrapped it, and gave me all the aftercare instructions. I looked at my arm, and I was just blown away. It was even more amazing than I had imagined. The braun color was perfect, the lines were sharp, and the snake looked so cool wrapped around my arm.
The healing process was a bit of a pain, I had to keep it clean and moisturized, and it itched like crazy for a few days. But it was all worth it. Now, a few weeks later, it’s fully healed, and I’m absolutely in love with it. It’s a constant reminder of my own strength and ability to change. Plus, it looks badass.
Getting this tattoo was definitely a journey, but it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s not just ink on my skin, it’s a part of me now. I’m already thinking about my next one.
