Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… Bivol versus Artur fight, or whatever they call it. My grandkids, they keep yellin’ about it, somethin’ about boxin’, you know? Big fellas punchin’ each other. Don’t see the point myself, always causin’ trouble, those fellas. But they say it’s a big deal, so here I am, tellin’ you what I heard.
So, first things first, they gonna fight on… let me see… Saturday, October 12th. Yeah, that’s what they said. One o’clock in the afternoon, somethin’ like that. East Coast time, whatever that means. Probably too early for me to even have my tea good and strong. These young folks, always in a hurry.
- Fight Date: October 12th
- Fight Time: 1:00 PM ET
Now, where can you watch this… this… punch-fest? That’s the tricky part. Seems like it’s all over the place. They got this thing called “DAZN”. Sounds like a fancy car, doesn’t it? But it ain’t. It’s somethin’ you watch on that… that… internet thingy. My grandson showed me once, all blurry pictures and folks talkin’ fast. Anyway, they sayin’ you gotta pay extra to see the big fight, somethin’ called “pay-per-view.” Sounds like a rip-off to me, but what do I know?
Important! If you’re watchin’ in the States, that’s America for you city folks, or in Canada, they say it’s on somethin’ called “ESPN Plus.” Another one of them fancy things. I swear, these young folks make everything so complicated. Back in my day, you wanted to see a fight, you went to the town square. Simple as that.
But this DAZN thing, they say it’s everywhere else. England, and all them other countries across the water. Over 200 places, they said. Imagine that! Two hundred places watchin’ these fellas punch each other. Must be somethin’ special, I guess.
Now, who are these fellas anyway? Well, there’s this Bivol fella. Don’t know his first name, they don’t tell me these things. And then there’s Artur… Artur somethin’. Beterbiev, that’s it. They say both of ’em are real good at punchin’, haven’t lost a fight yet. Beterbiev’s old though, 39 they say. That’s older than my prize-winning rooster! He better watch his back, that old fella.
They’re fightin’ for somethin’ called the “undisputed light-heavyweight champion.” Sounds important. Like who can lift the heaviest sack of potatoes, I guess. Only instead of potatoes, it’s punches. And instead of a sack, it’s… well, each other.
So, if you wanna watch this fight, get yourself that DAZN thing, or that ESPN Plus if you’re in America or Canada. And be ready to pay, ’cause they ain’t givin’ nothin’ away for free these days. Me? I’ll probably just take a nap. All that punchin’ sounds tiring.
And one more thing, they say there’s other fights before the big one. The “undercard,” they call it. You can watch that on DAZN, even in America. But the main fight, that’s the one you gotta pay extra for. Always tryna’ get your money, these folks.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. Bivol versus Beterbiev, October 12th, DAZN or ESPN Plus, pay-per-view. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some biscuits. That’s somethin’ I understand.
Here’s the quick and dirty version, just in case you weren’t payin’ attention:
- Who: Bivol vs. Beterbiev
- What: Boxing match for some championship thingy
- When: Saturday, October 12th, 1:00 PM ET
- Where: DAZN (everywhere but USA and Canada), ESPN+ (USA and Canada)
- How Much: Pay-Per-View for the main fight
There you have it. Now go on, get outta here, and let me get back to my biscuits.
