Okay, so, like everyone else, I’ve been super hyped about any little scrap of info about Natlan in Genshin Impact. I mean, a whole new region? Fire everywhere? Dragons?! Sign me up!
So, the other day, I started digging around the usual spots – you know, forums, some not-so-official-looking websites, the works. I wasn’t expecting much, just the typical blurry screenshots and wild theories. But then… boom!
My “Exploration” Process
- First, I hit up the forums. These places are usually a mixed bag, some totally made-up stuff, some decent hints. Mostly just noise, though.
- Then I went to the Genshin Leaks. That were a bit more promising, but still, you gotta be careful.
- Finally, I stumbled onto some Discord servers. This is where things got interesting.
I joined a couple of these Discord servers, kinda lurking at first, just seeing what people were talking about. And then, someone dropped what looked like a REALLY early map of Natlan. It was super rough, like, someone had sketched it out in MS Paint or something. But it had landmasses, some weird symbols, and what looked like potential areas.
I grabbed a screenshot immediately, obviously. Then I started comparing it to the tiny bits of official info we have. Does it line up with the overall shape of Teyvat? Are there any clues that match the teases we’ve gotten?
I even tried overlaying it on the existing Teyvat map, just to see if anything clicked. It was messy, and probably a long shot, but hey, you gotta try, right?
The map was super basic. It showed a large landmass, broken up by what looked like rivers or maybe even lava flows. There were some mountain symbols, a big circle that could be a volcano (fingers crossed!), and some weird markings that I couldn’t even begin to guess at. Maybe tribal symbols? Who knows!
I spent a good few hours just staring at this thing, zooming in, zooming out, comparing it to other leaked stuff. It was like putting together a puzzle with only a few pieces and a blurry picture on the box.
I am very excited!
