Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been driving me nuts in Honkai: Star Rail – the Dream Ticker puzzles. Yeah, those brain teasers that popped up in the 2.2 update. If you are stuck, then you came to the right place.
How to start
First off, I stumbled upon these puzzles while exploring the Penacony Dreamscape. There are like 39 of them scattered around, and I was like, “Challenge accepted!” I started by just wandering around and bumping into them, they are not hard to find.
The process of solving the puzzles
Most of these puzzles are all about moving images around to fix a clock. Sounds easy, right? Wrong! Some of them had me scratching my head for a good while. For example, I spent hours on the first puzzle. I kept moving the blocks, trying this and that, but nothing seemed to work. Then, I took a break, watched some videos, and boom! I realized I was overthinking it. The trick is to pay attention to the hint, and use the blocks to rotate the broken pieces.
There was this one puzzle that was a bit different from the others. It was way harder. I won’t spoil it too much, but let’s just say it involved a bit more than just moving images. It took me a while to figure that one out, but the feeling of finally solving it was awesome. And there are some really tough ones that I couldn’t solve, so I just skipped them for the moment.
Rewards
Of course, after all that hard work, there are some goodies. I got some Stellar Jades and other stuff for each puzzle I solved. It’s not much, but hey, every little bit helps when you’re trying to get new characters. I even got some achievements.
My feelings
Honestly, these Dream Ticker puzzles are a mixed bag for me. Some are fun and satisfying to solve, while others are just frustrating. But I guess that’s part of the charm, right? It wouldn’t be a good game without some challenges.
Tips
- Take breaks: Seriously, if you’re stuck, step away for a bit. Sometimes a fresh perspective is all you need.
- Don’t be afraid to look for help: There are guides online if you are completely lost.
- Enjoy the process: It’s not just about the rewards, but the journey too.
