Okay, so the other day I was thinking, “What’s up with Randy Orton and movies?” I mean, the guy’s a legend in the ring, but I was curious about his acting chops. So, I decided to do a little digging and see what I could find, you know, get the full picture.
My Dive into Randy Orton’s Movie Career
First, I just started with a simple search. Typed in “Randy Orton movies” and boom, a bunch of stuff popped up. I saw some familiar titles, like “12 Rounds 2: Reloaded”. I remembered seeing that one advertised years ago. There were also a few I’d never heard of.

I figured the best way to really get a feel for his filmography was to just start watching. I picked “12 Rounds 2” because, hey, I kinda liked the first “12 Rounds” with John Cena.
- Clicked on a streaming service I use.
- Found the movie, no problem.
- Hit play and settled in.
Honestly, It wasn’t half bad. It was pretty much what you’d expect from a direct-to-DVD action flick, A lot of punches, a lot of explosions. Orton actually did a decent job. He’s believable as a tough guy, obviously.
After that, I checked out “That’s What I Am”. A totally different vibe. More of a coming-of-age story, and Orton played a teacher. It showed he could do more than just throw punches, even he was only in a handfull of scenes.
Then I jumped into “The Condemned 2”. I will say, Stone Cold Steve Austin in first one was awesome. Orton’s version… well, let’s just say it wasn’t quite as memorable. But, again, he wasn’t terrible. He fit the role, for sure.

It was cool to see the range, from straight-up action to something a little more * is fun to explore by myself.
