Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Draco in Brawl Stars, trying to figure out the best way to play him. I started by just jumping into some matches, you know, getting a feel for his attacks and Super. At first, I was all over the place, just spamming buttons. Didn’t really work out, I got wrecked pretty fast.
Then, I started paying more attention to his range. His main attack is this long-range spear poke, which is great for keeping enemies at bay. I learned to keep my distance, poking at the enemy team, and only going in close when I had an advantage, like if they were already low on health or grouped up.

My Gear Tryout
For Gears, I went through a bit of trial and error. I started with the Damage and Speed Gear.
- Damage Gear: Made my attacks hit harder, but after losing many rounds, I quickly relized it is not very useful.
- Speed Gear: Let me to move faster in the fight, and I will say it is great.
Then I tried the Shield Gear and Health Gear.
- Shield Gear: Extra protection is always welcomed.
- Health Gear: To recover my health faster.
I eventually settled on a combination of the Damage Gear and the Shield Gear, finding that boosting his raw power while getting a bit of extra survivability, worked best for my playstyle.
Star Power and Gadget Selection
His Star Powers were the next thing I looked at. I started with “Guitar Solo,” which gives him a damage boost after he uses his Super. It sounded good in theory, but in practice, I found it hard to consistently get value from it.
Then I switched to “Lute Shredding.” This one heals you when your Super hits enemies. It made a HUGE difference. I was able to stay in fights longer, and the healing sometimes let me turn the tide of a battle.
For Gadgets, I initially used “Last Stand,” which gives you a temporary shield. It saved me a few times, but I felt like I needed something more offensive. So I swapped to “Dragon Kick”. This Gadget lets you dash forward and stun enemies. That stun is GOLD. It lets you interrupt enemy attacks, secure kills, and even escape sometimes.

The Best Build and Conclusion
So, after all that experimenting, here’s the build I’ve found to be the most effective:
- Gadget: Dragon Kick
- Star Power: Lute Shredding
- Gears: Damage and Shield
This setup lets me play aggressively while still having enough staying power to survive tough encounters. The key is to use the “Dragon Kick” Gadget wisely, to initiate attacks or interrupt key enemy abilities. “Lute Shredding” keeps me alive, and the Damage and Shield gears give me both extra hitting power and a bit of safety net. I found that with the right build and a bit of practice, he can be a real force on the battlefield!
