Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into “Adopt Me!” lately, trying to figure out this whole pet-value thing. It’s like a stock market, but with cute, virtual animals. Honestly, it’s been a rollercoaster, but I think I’m finally getting a handle on it.
My “Adopt Me!” Value Journey
I started out like everyone else – completely clueless. I hatched a few common eggs, got some dogs and cats, and thought I was doing pretty well. Then I tried to trade, and oh boy, was I in for a surprise. Nobody wanted my basic pets!

So, I decided to do some research, the hard way. I Spent hours watching YouTube videos, and reading every forum post I could find. It was information overload, and honestly, a lot of it was conflicting. Some people said one thing, others swore by something else.
I then Started taking note. I Made notes every time that saw someone offering a pet, or I Saw one pet get accepted, rejected, and with what. It was rough, and honestly super tiring, but it’s getting clearer.
- First, I realized rarity is king (or queen!). Obviously, legendary pets are worth more than ultra-rares, which are worth more than rares, and so on. But it’s not just about the rarity label.
- Second, Demand matters. A lot. A common pet that everyone wants (like a silly duck, for some reason) can be worth more than a rare pet that nobody cares about. I kept seeing silly ducks go fast.
- Third, age plays a role. Full-grown pets are generally worth more than newborns, and neons and megas are on a whole other level. Because it takes time and effort (or Robux) to age them up.
- Then there are the potions. Fly potions, ride potions – they add value, especially to lower-tier pets. I Managed to snag a few ride potions and that’s when things Started to become easier!
My “Aha!” moment came when I finally traded my way up to a rideable penguin. It took weeks of grinding, learning, and making some seriously bad trades along the way, but I finally did it. From that Ride Potion and that mid-tier pet. Boom.
I’m still no expert, but I’m definitely not a newbie anymore. I’m still learning every day, watching the market, and trying to make smart trades. It’s a game of patience, strategy, and a little bit of luck. And hey, even if I don’t get a mega shadow dragon anytime soon, I’m having fun (and that ride penguine is pretty cool!).
