Okay, so I finally decided to tackle the superboss in Nilva in Another Eden. I’d heard horror stories, so I was pretty nervous going in. I’d been putting it off, you know, grinding other stuff, leveling up my characters, getting better gear. All that jazz.
Preparation is Key (Or So I Thought)
First things first, I spent hours looking at guides online. I wanted to have the perfect team. My usual go-to party just wasn’t gonna cut it, I knew that much. I ended up settling on a team comp I saw recommended a few times, making sure I had characters with the right elemental attacks and buffs.I felt pretty good, I really do.

- Character 1: My trusty damage dealer, fully leveled and with their best weapon.
- Character 2: Someone to debuff the boss’s attack, because, ouch.
- Character 3: A healer, obviously. Gotta keep everyone alive.
- Character 4: Support unit, to buff my team’s attack and defense.
The Battle Begins (And Quickly Goes South)
I jumped into the fight, feeling all confident. I launched my buffs, got my debuffs on the boss, and started laying into it with my main damage dealer. First few turns? No problem! I was feeling like a genius, a master strategist. Then…BAM!
The boss unleashed some crazy multi-hit attack that just wrecked my healer. Dead. Gone. I stared at the screen in disbelief. “Okay,” I thought, “No big deal, I can recover. I have other characters, I can do this.”
Struggling On (And Failing Miserably)
I tried to adjust. I swapped in another character, tried to revive my healer, but the boss just kept hitting hard. It felt like every other turn, someone else was biting the dust. My carefully planned strategy was crumbling around me. My buffs were wearing off, my debuffs weren’t sticking, and my damage output was pathetic.
I think I lasted maybe…ten turns? Before my entire party was wiped out. Total defeat. I just sat there, staring at the “Game Over” screen, feeling completely deflated.
Back to the Drawing Board (And Maybe More Grinding)
So, yeah. My first attempt at the Nilva superboss was a disaster. A complete and utter failure. But hey, that’s part of the game, right? Gotta learn from your mistakes.I need go back to the drawing board, rethink my team, maybe grind some more levels, get even better gear. I’m not giving up! I will beat that boss, eventually. It’s just gonna take a little (or a lot) more work than I thought.
Any tips are welcome!
