Okay, so today I want to share my experience with playing Ashe in ARAM. I’ve been messing around with different builds and strategies, and I think I’ve finally cracked the code on how to really dominate with her in this mode.
First off, let’s talk about why Ashe is so strong in ARAM. It’s all about that W, Volley. The range is crazy, and on that narrow map, you can just spam it to poke enemies non-stop. Plus, it slows them down, making it super hard for them to engage or escape. In regular Summoner’s Rift, it’s good, but in ARAM, it’s just broken, you know?
So, how did I start figuring this out? Well, I played a bunch of games, tried different things, and, initially I lost a lot, haha. I started with the standard ADC builds like Statikk Shiv, Berserker’s Greaves, and all that stuff. I had a few wins here and there, but it wasn’t consistent. I felt like I wasn’t using Ashe’s full potential.
Then I started experimenting. I read some guides online, but they were all over the place, from ADC to lethality and even AP Ashe. It was confusing, to say the least. But then I stumbled upon some discussions about maximizing ability haste for Ashe in ARAM. It made sense – more Volleys means more damage and more slows, right?
My Build Experimentation
-
Initial Approach: I went with the usual ADC items. It was okay, but nothing special. I felt like a glass cannon – high damage, but I died super fast.
-
The Shift: I started focusing on ability haste. I saw that Trinity Force was mentioned a lot, it gives a good balance of stats. Ability haste, attack speed, AD, and even some health to not get blown up instantly. Sounded good to me!
-
Runes: I picked Precision as the primary path and Inspiration as the secondary. Lethal Tempo seemed like the best keystone, and it really did make a difference. My win rate with these runes was around 53%, not bad, eh?
My main goal was to spam that W as much as possible. With Trinity Force and the right runes, I could get the cooldown really low, even though it’s nerfed in ARAM. I was basically a machine gun of slows and damage. And the extra health from Trinity Force? A lifesaver. I wasn’t getting one-shotted anymore.
I also messed around with skill order. Maxing W first was a no-brainer. Then I focused on E for the vision, which is super important in ARAM, and lastly Q. The attack speed from Q is nice, but in ARAM, it’s all about that W spam.
Results and Final Thoughts
After all this tinkering, my win rate with Ashe in ARAM shot up. I was consistently doing well, carrying games, and having a blast. It felt great to finally figure out a strategy that worked so well.
So, if you’re an Ashe fan and want to crush it in ARAM, give this ability haste build a try. It’s all about spamming that Volley, staying alive with the extra health, and using those runes to boost your damage. Trust me, it’s a game-changer. You’ll be dominating the Howling Abyss in no time!
