Okay, so I ran into this “Ash unavailable” thing in Brawl Stars today, and let me tell you, it was a head-scratcher. I was all hyped up to play Ash, you know, really bash some bots, and bam! He’s just… not there. Greyed out, unselectable. Total bummer.
Figuring Out the Problem
First thing I did? Checked my internet, obviously. Sometimes my Wi-Fi goes wonky, and that can mess with the game. Made sure the connection was solid. Nope, that wasn’t it. Everything else was working fine, streaming videos, browsing, all good. So, it’s gotta be something with Brawl Stars itself.

Next, I jumped into a quick regular match with a different Brawler, just to see if any Brawler was working. Yeah, no problems there. Played a round, everything smooth. So, it was definitely something specific to Ash.
The Solution (and Some Confusion)
I was starting to think maybe Ash was temporarily disabled for some reason, like a bug fix or something. So I went poking around in the game menus. I checked the news section, hoping for some kind of announcement. Nothing.
Then I remembered – power levels! I’m still pretty new to Brawl Stars, and sometimes I forget about the little details. I went to Ash’s profile, and there it was. Or rather, wasn’t there. My Ash was still at a super low power level. I hadn’t upgraded him at all!
Turns out, you need a Brawler at a certain power level to use them in some game modes. I felt a little silly, but hey, we all learn somehow, right? I spent some coins and power points, got Ash leveled up, and boom! He was back in action, ready to rumble.
So, basically, the whole “Ash unavailable” drama was all my fault. I just needed to give him some love (and some upgrades). Lesson learned: Pay attention to those power levels, folks!
Now I can smash some bots and no one can stop me!
