Stumbling Upon the Rabbit Mural
Okay, so I was just exploring, you know how it is in Animal Well, poking into corners I hadn’t checked yet. Ended up in this kinda quiet area, bit darker than usual. And bam, there’s this huge painting on the wall. Took me a second to realise what it was.
It was covered in these rabbit figures. Not just slapped on there, they looked pretty deliberate. Different poses, some looking up, some down, some sideways. Kinda cool looking, but felt like it meant something. You know that feeling in this game, where everything is probably a puzzle?

Figuring Out What To Do
So first thing I did was just walk up to it, pushed against it. Nothing. Shone my light everywhere, thinking maybe a hidden switch. Nope. Tried chucking the frisbee at it, for laughs really. Still nothing. It just sat there, looking all mysterious with its rabbits.
I stood back for a bit. Started thinking about the tools I had. The bubble wand? Nah, didn’t seem right. The yoyo? Didn’t see anything to latch onto. Then I remembered the flute. The game makes a point of giving you that thing, and those rabbits… they looked kinda like musical notes if you squinted. Or maybe directions?
The Flute Was the Key
Pulled out the old flute. Just tootled a few random notes, hoping for a miracle. Silence. Okay, random isn’t the way. Looked closer at the rabbits again. Focus! I saw one seemed to be looking straight up. Another was looking left. Another down. Aha! Directions!
So I tried playing the directions on the flute, matching the rabbits from left to right.
- First rabbit looked up, so I played ‘up’.
- Next one looked right, played ‘right’.
- Then down, played ‘down’.
- Kept going like that across the whole mural. Had to get the order right.
Took a couple of tries, messed up the sequence once or twice. You gotta be precise.
Got It!
On the final correct note… CLICK. That sweet sound of a secret unlocking. The whole rabbit mural started rumbling, shaking a bit. Then part of the wall just slid open, right where the painting was. Classic hidden passage stuff.

Inside wasn’t anything too crazy, think it was one of those hidden eggs I’ve been hunting for. But man, figuring it out felt good. Just staring at a wall, trying stuff until it clicks. That’s the game, right? Pretty neat puzzle, gotta say. Glad I didn’t just walk past it.
