Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this game, and let me tell you, leveling up those encores is a whole thing. I needed to gather a bunch of materials, and it was a bit of a journey, so I figured I’d share my experience.
First off, I needed to figure out exactly what I needed. I checked some in-game guides, and started compiling my list of materials. There was a mix of stuff I already had a little of, and other things I hadn’t even seen before.

My Material Hunt
- Soundless Horns: These were the first on my list. I was lucky enough to get a few on the go, but not in the numbers I needed.
- Shells, shells and MORE shells: There are so many different types! There are the basic ones, the shiny ones, the ones that look like they’re glowing. Seriously, so many shells.I hit up all the beachy areas and just started smashing every monster I could find.
- Crystals: And I’m not talking about the easy-to-find ones. I needed the rarer types. For these, I had to focus on specific world bosses and weekly challenges.
So, I started by tackling the easy stuff. I spent a good few hours just running around the map, following routes I’d mapped out, picking fights with anything that looked like it might drop what I required. It was a bit of a grind, I’ll be honest. I had to teleport back to town a few times to empty my inventory and repair my gear. But that’s the nature of the beast, right?
After that, I moved on to the tougher challenges. I teamed up with some friends to take down the world bosses. That was way more fun than solo grinding, and it was definitely faster. We had a few wipes, but we eventually got into a good rhythm and managed to snag the materials we * weekly challenges were, well, challenging! Some of them took a few tries, but I learned the patterns and eventually got them down.
Honestly, the hardest part was just keeping track of everything.I ended up making a spreadsheet (yeah, I’m that kind of player) to list everything, where to find it, and how many I had. It sounds a little much but trust me, it helped a ton.
Finally, after a couple of days of dedicated material hunting, I had everything I needed. I went back to the upgrade menu, clicked through all the confirmations, and boom! My encore was leveled up. It felt good to finally see all that work pay off.
