Okay, so I was messing around online the other day, and I got curious about George Brett. You know, the baseball guy? Hall of Famer, played for the Royals, the whole deal. Anyway, I started wondering about his family, specifically his sons. So, I did what any normal person does – I Googled it.
First thing I did was type in “George Brett sons” into the search bar. A bunch of stuff popped up, but I mostly focused on a few articles that seemed reliable. Turns out, George has three sons with his wife, Leslie. Their names are Jackson, Dylan, and Robin. Sounds like a pretty normal family, right?
- Jackson: The oldest, born in 1993. I quickly did the math in my head (because who needs a calculator?) and realized he’s about 30 now.
- Dylan: Next up, born on July 20th. I didn’t see the year mentioned, so I couldn’t figure out his age, but who cares? It’s just a date.
- Robin: No birthdate on this one, but he’s the third son.
Then I got a little sidetracked. I read that George’s dad, Jack Brett, also had four sons, and they all played baseball! I mean, can you believe that? Talk about a baseball family. George’s older brother, John, and his other brother, Bobby, apparently played in the minors but had some injuries. Only Ken and George made it to the big leagues, though.
I kept digging a bit more. After he retired, George became a vice president for the Royals. Not too shabby. He also did some coaching and instructing, which makes sense since he was so good at the game. Seemed like a natural transition to me.
So, I started this whole thing wanting to know about George Brett’s sons, and I ended up learning a bunch about his whole family. It’s funny how the internet works, right? You start with one question, and next thing you know, you’re down a rabbit hole of random information. But hey, at least I satisfied my curiosity, and now I know a little more about the Brett family.
It is just a little interest of mine and I’m glad that I explored it and figured it out.
