Okay, so, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed the other day, you know, just doing my usual thing, and I stumbled upon this post about Alex Verdugo. Now, I follow a bunch of baseball players because, well, I love baseball, and Verdugo, he’s one of those guys who’s always posting fun stuff. He’s one of the biggest stars in Major League Baseball these days. Not just about baseball, but also about his family life.
This time, it was a picture of his kid, Andrs. And you know what? It was his birthday! The caption read, “Feliz cumpleaos to our baseball-loving, funny, smart boy, Andrs.” It had tons of likes, like 17,000 of them, and a bunch of comments, like 135. People were wishing Andrs a happy birthday and all that good stuff. I also read an article saying that Verdugo’s partner is named Yamille Alcala, and they have two sons, A.J. and Efrain, and a daughter named Alianna. So, he has three kids.
I clicked on the profile, dugie24, which I’m assuming is Verdugo’s, and started browsing through his other posts. Lots of baseball stuff, obviously, but also a bunch of family pics. There was this one video that caught my eye, though. It was shared by Carlos Rodon’s wife, Ashley. She recorded her firstborn, Willow, and one of Verdugo’s sons near a NYC subway rail. It’s really a heartfelt moment. Oh, and I also found out that Verdugo’s mom’s name is Shelly.
Seeing all these family moments got me thinking, you know? It’s pretty cool to see these athletes, who we usually just see on the field, being all normal and stuff with their families. It makes them seem more, I don’t know, relatable?
Trying to find out more about his kids
- Searched for “Alex Verdugo kids” online.
- Found some articles mentioning his partner, Yamille Alcala, and their three children.
- Read that he’s quite the family man, which is awesome.
- I also tried to find out how much he makes. It turns out that Alex Verdugo will make $8,700,000 from the 2024 MLB season. He earned $6,300,000 from the 2023 MLB season, $3,550,000 from the 2022 MLB season. That’s a lot of money!
So yeah, that’s basically what I did. I spent a good chunk of my afternoon just browsing through pictures and reading about Alex Verdugo and his family. It was a nice little break from my usual routine, and it made me appreciate these athletes even more. They’re not just players; they’re dads, partners, and regular people, just like us.
