Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this AJ Lee 2024 thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I started out with basically zero ideas, just staring at a blank screen. I knew I wanted to make something cool, something that would, you know, capture people’s attention.
I started by brainstorming what “AJ Lee 2024” could even mean. Is it a game? A fan project? Some kind of political statement? I jotted down a bunch of random thoughts, trying to connect the dots. Honestly, most of it was garbage, but it got the ball rolling.
Then, I decided to narrow it down. I figured, “Hey, why not make it about a fictional campaign?” Like, AJ Lee running for president or something. It sounded fun, and I could see some potential there. So, I started sketching out some ideas for what that could look like.
I spent a good chunk of time just playing around with different concepts. I thought about making campaign posters, slogans, maybe even a fake website. It was a lot of trial and error. I’d come up with something, realize it wasn’t working, and then go back to the drawing board. A bit frustrating, sure, but also kinda fun in a weird way.
After a while, I settled on creating a series of mock-up campaign materials. I used some basic design tools, nothing fancy, and started putting together some posters. I played with different fonts, colors, and images, trying to find a style that felt right. I wanted it to be eye-catching, but also a little bit tongue-in-cheek, you know?
- I worked on a few different slogans, trying to capture that AJ Lee vibe.
- “Straight Edge, Straight to the Top!” was one.
- Another one was “Crazy is My Superpower…for America!”
It was a lot of just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what stuck. I ended up with a handful of designs that I thought were pretty decent. Not perfect, but hey, it’s a start.
Then, I decided to take it a step further and create a mock-up social media campaign. I made some fake tweets and posts, imagining what AJ Lee’s campaign would be saying online. I even drafted a few “policy” ideas, just for kicks. Things like mandatory video game breaks during the workday and free pizza for everyone. Because why not?
Finally, I put everything together in a little presentation. It’s not much, but it’s something I’m kind of proud of. It was a fun little project, and it definitely pushed me to be a bit more creative. It’s not gonna win any awards, but it was a good way to kill some time and have a few laughs. I mean I did this thing. And maybe someone out there will get a kick out of it, too. I just want to say this thing took me almost a whole day!
What I learned
Even a simple idea can turn into a fun project if you let it, and also making things is pretty cool.
