Listen up, y’all, let me tell ya somethin’ about this fella, Aaron Boone. They say he’s a big shot manager for them New York Yankees, yeah, the baseball team. Heard he makes a whole lotta money, like, millions of dollars every year. Can ya believe that?
Now, I ain’t no expert on this baseball stuff, but from what I hear, this Aaron fella, he ain’t doin’ too bad. They say he’s one of the highest-paid managers in the whole league. That means he’s gotta be pretty darn good, right? I mean, they wouldn’t pay him all that money if he was a slouch, would they?
They signed him up back in 2021, give or take. And they gave him a deal for a few years, with somethin’ called an “option” for another year, 2025, I think. Folks are sayin’ he’s makin’ somethin’ like $3.3 million a year. That’s a whole lotta hay, let me tell ya. More money than I ever seen in my whole life, that’s for sure.

This Aaron guy, he’s been around baseball his whole life, it seems. His daddy was a baseball player too, so it’s in the blood, I guess. And Aaron, he used to play ball himself before he started bossin’ other fellas around. He played that infield thing, whatever that is. Then he went and talked on the TV or the radio, somethin’ like that, before he got the manager job.
Now, last year, the Yankees, they didn’t do so hot. Missed the playoffs, they did. Folks were grumblin’ and sayin’ maybe Aaron wasn’t worth all that money. But then this year, they went and won somethin’ called a pennant, which I guess is a big deal. So, maybe that shut them grumblers up.
Anyway, the Yankees, they decided to keep Aaron around. They used that option thingy for 2025, so he’s gonna be their manager for another year at least. Heck, maybe they’ll even give him more money. These rich fellas, they just keep on gettin’ richer, don’t they?
They say he was born in 1973. Do the math, that makes him… well, older than my chickens, that’s for sure. His wife, her name is Laura. They got a boy named Brandon Aaron. Sounds like a good family, ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. He even went to a school called Villa Park High, way back in 1991. Seems like a long time ago, doesn’t it?
Aaron Boone’s been with the Yankees for a good while now, managin’ them since… well, a while back. He’s won a lot of games, more than he’s lost, that’s for sure. Over 600 wins, they say. That’s a whole lot of baseball games, if you ask me. Guess he must know a thing or two about that sport.
So yeah, that’s the story on Aaron Boone, as far as I can tell. He makes a pile of money, manages the Yankees, and comes from a baseball family. Whether he’s worth all that dough, well, I reckon that’s for the baseball folks to figure out. Me, I’m just happy if my chickens lay eggs and the garden grows.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on them chickens.
