Okay, so today I wanted to share my little adventure from playing Genshin Impact. I got this quest to photograph two types of birds. Sounds easy, right? Well, let me tell you, it was a bit of a wild goose chase, literally!
First, I opened the game and checked the quest details. It said I needed to snap pics of two different bird species. No problem, I thought. I’ve got this fancy Kamera in the game, should be a piece of cake. I started by teleporting to the Court of Fontaine. You know, that place near the Adventurer’s Guild? I figured it would be a good starting point.
Finding the First Birds
- Headed to the Court of Fontaine: I figured a busy place like that would have some birds hanging around.
- Spotted some poodles: Not birds, I know, but they were cute, so I took a couple of pictures anyway. You can never have too many dog pics, am I right?
- Used the in-game camera: The game has this neat feature where you can take photos. You just go to the main menu and click the camera icon on the top left. It’s pretty straightforward.
So, I wandered around for a bit, snapping pics of the scenery and those adorable poodles. But no birds! I decided to move on and teleported to Springvale. I remembered seeing a pond there, and I figured birds love water, right?
The Second Location
- Teleported to Springvale: This place is known for its pond, so I thought it would be a good spot for bird-watching.
- Found the pond: It wasn’t hard to miss. It’s right near where Draff hangs out.
- Still no birds: I was starting to get a little frustrated at this point. Where were all the birds hiding?
I spent a good chunk of time just running around Springvale, checking every tree and bush. I felt like a real-life bird watcher, except without the binoculars and the patience. Finally, I decided to try a different approach. I remembered reading somewhere that birds also like beaches. So, I pulled up my map and picked a beach that looked promising.
Beach Time
- Chose a beach: I picked one that was relatively close and easy to get to.
- Teleported to the beach: The game makes it super easy to travel around.
- Bingo! Birds!: Finally, I found a bunch of birds just chilling on the sand.
I quickly switched to my Kamera and started taking pictures. The camera in the game actually identifies the type of bird, which was super helpful. I made sure to get at least two different types. Snapped a few pics, checked the quest log, and boom! Quest complete.
It was a bit more work than I expected, but hey, I got to explore a bit and take some cool photos. Plus, I learned that birds in Genshin Impact are a bit camera-shy. Anyway, that’s my little story.
