Man, so, I’ve been meaning to get into this whole Rhea Ripley thing in WWE, and 2024 seemed like the perfect time to dive in. I’m a huge fan of wrestling, so I figured, why not see what all the hype is about with this Rhea Ripley character?
So, I started by just watching a bunch of her matches from this year. It was really good! She’s been going up against some big names, like Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. I saw some stuff about her time in AEW with her husband, Buddy Matthews. They mentioned she met him back in her WWE days. That’s kind of cool, I guess.
I really dug into her recent stuff on Raw. This woman is a beast! They say she’s won titles everywhere she’s been, and I saw she took down Asuka at WrestleMania for the Raw Women’s Championship. That match was insane! I totally get why Raquel Rodriguez says Rhea’s the funniest person she knows – she’s got this awesome charisma.
Then there’s this whole deal with WWE Raw moving to Netflix. I saw a headline that said, “Rhea Ripley will get her shot at Liv Morgan,” and something about members in the… I don’t know, it was cut off. But it sounds huge! I also saw a bunch of tags like “WWE Raw” and “Netflix” all over the place, so I knew something big was up.
I found this one article that was like, “Rhea Ripley is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in WWE right now.” And I was like, “Yeah, no kidding!” Another one talked about where to watch Raw’s debut on Netflix, but it didn’t say much more than that. There was even some random tag with Zhou Enlai’s name in it. Weird.
I did find out that Raw is supposed to premiere on Netflix on January 6th. That’s a Monday, by the way. I saw some buzz about Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan both being at some Raw on Netflix Kickoff event on December 18th. I guess that means something big is coming up.
I watched this one match where Rhea Ripley went up against Raquel Rodriguez in an “Anything Goes” match. Let me tell you, it was wild! Tags were all over it, like “RheaRipley.”

Anyway, I gotta say, following Rhea Ripley in 2024 has been a blast. She’s a powerhouse in the ring, and this whole Netflix deal has me super excited. I’m definitely going to keep watching to see what she does next.
