What in tarnation is this Lores Beyond the Ranges?
It’s somethin’ you gotta do in that Wuthering Waves game, after you done did somethin’ else with that Changli fella. Some kinda story, they call it “Immortal Blaze.” Sounds mighty fancy to me, but once you done with that, you get to this “Lores Beyond the Ranges.” I got this, see, after finishin’ up with that Changli story. It came up just like that. Then, that Xinyi gal, she calls ya up, needs your help with somethin’ or other.
They say it’s a “Side Quest.” Don’t know what’s so “side” about it. It’s right there in that Mt. Firmament place, in Huanglong. That’s where you gotta go if you wanna find it. You’ll know when you get there. It is just a big mountain.
Waitin’ and Waitin’
Now, here’s the kicker. After that Xinyi calls, you gotta wait. They tell ya to wait for some message from a gal named Xiaoyu. And let me tell ya, waitin’ ain’t easy. They say you gotta wait a whole day. A real day, not one of them game days. Twenty-four hours, just sittin’ there twiddlin’ your thumbs. It ain’t right, I tell ya. There’s no button you can press to make it go faster. You just gotta be patient, like plantin’ seeds and waitin’ for ’em to grow.
- You do that Changli thing, “Immortal Blaze” they call it.
- Then that Xinyi gal calls ya up.
- Then you gotta wait. A whole day. For that Xiaoyu message.
- You gotta go to Mt. Firmament. In Huanglong.
What’s this Wuthering Waves game anyway?
Well, from what I can gather, it’s one of them open-world things. You can run around all over the place, doin’ this and that. Seems like there’s a lot of story in it. They say it’s a “story-rich” game. I guess that means there’s a lot of talkin’ and such. Somethin’ about wakin’ up from a slumber. You’re some kinda “Rover” character. Sounds like a dog’s name to me, but what do I know?
This whole thing, it’s made by some company called Kuro Game. Never heard of ’em, but they sure made somethin’ that’s got everyone talkin’.
I heard it takes about 4-5 hours to get through that prologue and chapter one thing. Seems like a lot of time to me. But I guess these young folks, they got nothin’ but time.
Somethin’ About a Secret Investigation
Now, there’s this other thing I heard about, called a “Secret Investigation.” Sounds mighty mysterious, don’t it? You gotta answer some questions, like some kinda quiz show. One question is about the mother of these two fellas, Qiao Sheng and Qiao Yang. What did she do for a livin’? Sounds like gossip to me, but I guess it’s important for the game.
Wuthering Waves has some questions, that’s for sure. You gotta find out those answers. It’s important, they say.
All That Fancy Talk About Lore
They keep throwin’ around this word “lore.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d find in a book. From what I can tell, it’s just the story of the game. The world they built, all the people and places and things that happened. Like the history of the whole darn place. I guess some folks like to get into all that. Me, I just wanna know what I’m supposed to be doin’ in the game.
But this lores beyond the ranges, it is part of the big story. Just remember you gotta wait that whole day. Wuthering Waves is sure full of waitin’, ain’t it?
