Alright, so you wanna know why they ain’t lettin’ nobody do that “Burning Hammer” move in WWE, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t as simple as just sayin’ “it looks too dangerous.” Though, Lord knows, it sure does look like it could snap a fella in two. This ain’t like stubbin’ your toe, this is serious business.
Why that Burning Hammer is a No-Go in WWE
See, that Burning Hammer, it’s a whole different kind of beast. Even them big, tough wrestlers, the ones who’ve been doin’ this their whole lives, they think twice about that move. This move was made in Japan. I heard the fella who made it up, he only did it seven times! Can you believe it? Seven times! And he’s the one who thought it up! That should tell ya somethin’ right there.
Now, WWE, they got their rules, you know? They say they don’t want nobody gettin’ hurt too bad. That Piledriver move, they banned that one too. Said it was too risky. You gotta protect your head, they say. You mess up that Piledriver, and you could end up with a real bad injury. Neck, head, spine, all that important stuff. Ain’t nothin’ to mess around with.
All Them Moves They Don’t Allow No More
- That Vertebreaker, that’s another one they stopped folks from doin’. Early 2000s, I reckon. They said it was like that Piledriver, too dangerous. They only kept that Tombstone move, ’cause of safety.
- Remember that Punt move? That Randy Orton used to do? Kickin’ folks in the head? Well, they stopped that one too. Said it caused them concussions. Too rough, they said.
- And them chair shots! Oh boy, they used to let ’em whack each other with them chairs. Not no more. Too much heat, they said. Makes the bad guys look too mean, I guess.
- Even that Anaconda Vice, that submission hold, they banned that one too! Ain’t that somethin’? They said it’s a rarity, so they don’t use it.
Now you’re probably thinking that is all about safety. But there is other stuff too. They use them fire effects, right? Well, that costs money, lots of it. Using less of that stuff means they can save some money, you see?
It’s More Than Just Lookin’ Dangerous
So, that Burning Hammer, it’s just too much. Too risky, too dangerous, even for them pros. One fella, Tyler Reks, he tried to use it. But, nope, they shut that down real quick. It ain’t worth nobody gettin’ seriously hurt, is it? And that move, it just looks like a hospital visit waitin’ to happen. One little slip, one wrong move, and bam! You’re in a world of hurt.
WWE, they try to keep things a little safer these days. They got families watchin’, you know? Little kids lookin’ up to these wrestlers. They don’t want them seein’ nothin’ too crazy. And honestly, some of them moves, they just look plain mean. Like they’re tryin’ to really hurt each other.
Keepin’ it a Little Safer
It ain’t like the old days. Wrestlin’s changed. They still put on a good show, but they gotta be a little more careful. That Burning Hammer, it’s just too much. It’s like bringin’ a cannon to a fistfight. Ain’t nobody need that. And like I said, even them tough guys, they don’t wanna mess with it.
So, they got their reasons. Safety, mostly. But also, they don’t want things gettin’ too out of hand. It’s a show, after all. They want folks to be entertained, not worried about somebody gettin’ their neck broke. And that Burning Hammer, well, it just ain’t worth the risk. No sir, not one bit. They got plenty of other moves, you know? They can still put on a good show without nobody gettin’ crippled. It just ain’t worth it, plain and simple.
There you have it. The Burning Hammer is not allowed in WWE because it is dangerous. But they have banned a lot of moves for being too dangerous. The Piledriver, the Vertebreaker, that Punt and even chair shots. Also, the Anaconda Vice. And they try to save money by not using too much fire effects. Hope you learned something!
