You know, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this Floyd Mayweather assistant the other day. Sounds like a real big shot, this Floyd fella. They say he’s a boxer, makes a whole heap of money punchin’ people. And this assistant, well, she was with him for a long, long time. Her name was Marikit, but everyone called her Kitchie. Poor thing, she passed on. Only 47 years old, too young if you ask me. Heard she got sick after going to some fancy place called Dubai.
This Floyd, he’s somethin’ else. Been boxin’ for years and years, they say he’s the best there ever was. Started when he was just a little sprout, and kept on goin’ till he was all grown up. They say he has some kinda speed and power that other folks just don’t have. They call this guy “Money” because he has lots of money. He’s a billionaire boxer now. They say he was really poor when he started, but he worked hard and got all that money. I heard he was boxin’ for more than twenty years, from the early days until he was older, and he always won.
I don’t know much ’bout boxin’, but I know it’s a rough way to make a livin’. Get punched in the face, gotta be real tough. This Kitchie lady, she must’ve been tough too, stickin’ with him all those years. They say she was his best friend, not just his assistant. Can you imagine? Helpin’ him with everything, probably saw him at his best and his worst.
- They say this Floyd fella was born in some place called Grand Rapids, in Michigan.
- He’s got a gym in Las Vegas now, where he trains.
- He got famous for beatin’ a guy named Manny Pacquiao.
They were talkin’ ’bout some referee this Floyd didn’t like. Seems like this referee, some fella from Panama named Hector, he called Floyd out for hittin’ someone in the back of the head. Well, Floyd got real mad ’bout that. Told that referee to get lost! They had to bring in another one, some Mexican fella. Imagine that, tellin’ the referee what to do! This Floyd, he’s got some nerve, I tell ya.
They say this Floyd Mayweather assistant, Kitchie, she was there for all of it. The good times and the bad. Must’ve been hard, seein’ him get all beat up in those fights. But she stuck by him. Loyal, that’s what she was. Real loyal. And now she’s gone. It’s a shame, really.
I heard that Floyd was really sad when Kitchie passed away. He cried and said she was his best friend. They were together for a long time, so I guess they were close. She worked for him for most of his 25 years of boxing. That’s a long time! They say he’s the best boxer ever. He’s got a big name, that’s for sure.
They was sayin’ how he was talkin’ at some panel, some event for a movie. He’s a big shot, you see, even in the movies now! And he talked about her, this Kitchie lady. Said she was the best. It made me sad, thinkin’ about it. To lose someone like that, someone who’s been with you through thick and thin.
This world is a strange place, ain’t it? One minute you’re here, the next you’re gone. And all that money, all that fame, it don’t mean nothin’ in the end. Just gotta cherish the people you got, while you got ’em. This Floyd Mayweather, he’s a big deal, yeah. But even big deals lose people they care about. Just goes to show, we’re all the same in the end. All the same. He sure did like that Floyd Mayweather assistant, though.
You know, they say he’s the first boxer to make a billion dollars. A billion! Can you even imagine that much money? I sure can’t. He must have more money than he knows what to do with. And this Kitchie was there for a lot of it. She had lots of stories to tell, I bet. He made all of that money, 1.2 billion, but Kitchie is gone now. Money can’t bring her back. He must be real sad, even though he has all of that money.
It’s a tough life, ain’t it? But you gotta keep on goin’. That’s what Kitchie would probably say. Just keep on goin’. She’s gone, but her memory lives on. People will remember her, especially this Floyd Mayweather. He won’t ever forget his assistant, his friend. No sir, he won’t. You just remember that, even if you get all the money in the world, it doesn’t mean anything without people to share it with. That’s what I think, anyway.
