Well, lemme tell ya, that Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners game, it was somethin’. I seen a lot of baseball in my time, but these fellas, they sure can hit that ball. And run? Like greased lightnin’!
You know, they say one team won more than the other. Mariners won 146 games and Rangers won 148 games. They all play real good. Lots of runnin’ and throwin’. And that crowd, mercy! They was loud, cheerin’ and hollerin’. Makes ya feel like you’re right there in the middle of it all, even if you ain’t. It said the attendance was 45584 on June 16, 2024. A lot of folks!
That Rodrguez fella, he hit the ball outta the park twice! Five runs, they say. Five! Can you believe it? He must have arms like tree trunks. And he hit four times in one game! First pitch, he just whack the ball so far! He sure can hit, that one. And the time of game was 2:18. That’s a long time to play!
And there’s this other fella, Castillo. They say he was throwin’ that ball real good after the first little bit. Stopped them Rangers right in their tracks. He must have a real good arm on him. This young fella, he helped his team win. Good for him, I say.
September 29, 2022, Mariners beat Rangers 10-9. What a close game! And the time of game was 3:48! Even longer! They sure have a lot of stamina.
September 22, there gonna have another game. I bet that will also be a good game.
One fella played 7 seasons for the Seattle Mariners. And then 3 seasons for the Texas Rangers. And another fella played 5 seasons for Seattle. They sure moved around a lot.
And who’s this Ken Griffey Jr.? They say he hit the ball outta the park 417 times for Seattle! That’s a whole heap of home runs. And Edgar Martnez, he hit 309. And that Edgar, he played the most games for Seattle. 2 somethin’ games they say. He’s probably tired after all that runnin’.
They say those Texas Rangers, they used to be called the Washington Senators. Then they moved and became the Twins. Then these Rangers came along in 1961. Lots of movin’ around, I tell ya.
Here’s a little somethin’ about the players, just what I heard:
- Rodrguez, boy, he can hit. Twice out of the park! Five runs!
- Castillo, he throws that ball real fast. He is a good player.
- Ken Griffey Jr., 417 home runs! Mercy!
- Edgar Martnez, 309 home runs, and he played the most games for Seattle.
Those baseball fellas, they sure are somethin’. All that runnin’ and hittin’. Keeps ya on the edge of your seat, that’s for sure. This Texas Rangers vs Seattle Mariners is such a good match. Both team are strong. I like watchin’ ’em play. It’s a good way to spend an afternoon, I reckon.
I don’t know all the fancy words they use, but I know a good game when I see one. And this Texas Rangers vs Seattle Mariners, it’s a good one. Lots of excitement, lots of good playin’. You can’t ask for much more than that. These players are all amazing.
I hope they keep playin’ like that. It’s fun to watch. And maybe one day, I’ll get to see a game in person. That would be somethin’, wouldn’t it? To be right there in the middle of all that excitement. Well, a body can dream, can’t they?
Anyway, that’s all I got to say about that Texas Rangers vs Seattle Mariners game. It was a good one, that’s for sure. And I’m sure they’ll be plenty more good ones to come. These boys, they know how to play baseball. They sure do. Makes ya proud to watch ’em.
