Alright, let’s talk about this Salt Papi fella and his boxing thing. I heard folks jabberin’ about him, so I figured I’d take a look-see myself. Don’t know much about boxin’, but I know a thing or two about scrappin’ – back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy gloves, just good ol’ fists!
So, this Salt Papi, he’s got himself a record, they say. Wins and losses, like anythin’ else in life. Seems like he’s been punchin’ around for a bit now. They say he’s got somethin’ like, uh… four wins and two losses? Yep, that’s what I heard. 4-2, they call it. Fancy way of sayin’ he won four times and got beat twice. Happens to the best of ‘em, I reckon.
- Wins: Four of ‘em, so they say. Don’t know who he beat, but a win’s a win, right? Guess he punches pretty hard, or maybe those other fellas just ain’t so tough.
- Losses: Two times he got knocked down, or whatever they do in boxin’. Tough luck, I say. But hey, gettin’ back up is what matters, ain’t it?
Now, they tell me this Salt Papi, he’s one of them influencers. Don’t rightly know what that means, but sounds like a lot of young folks watch him do his thing. He’s on that Tickety-Tok thingamajig, makin’ videos and such. And then he goes and puts on gloves and punches people? Well, I guess that’s what folks like these days. Kids and their crazy ideas, I tell ya.
I heard he had a big fight recently, over in… where was it? Qatar, that’s it. Fought some fella named King Kenny. Sounds like a made-up name, if you ask me. But anyway, Salt Papi, he won that one. Big victory, they said. Knocked the fella out, or somethin’ like that. Good for him, I guess. Showed that King Kenny who’s boss.
But then I heard somethin’ wasn’t right after the fight. Folks were complainin’ or somethin’. Don’t know the details, but sounds like there was a bit of a fuss. Maybe they didn’t like how he won, or maybe they just like to complain. People these days, always findin’ somethin’ to gripe about.
This whole boxin’ thing, it’s kinda strange to me. Two fellas, beatin’ each other up for fun and money. Seems a bit barbaric, if you ask me. But hey, to each their own, I always say. If Salt Papi wants to punch people and folks want to watch him, well, that’s their business. Just hope they don’t get hurt too bad. Breakin’ noses and such, it ain’t natural.
So, what’s the deal with this Salt Papi’s boxing statistics anyway? They got all these numbers and records and such. Cruiserweight, they call him. Sounds heavy, like one of them big trucks. And he’s from the Philippines, or lives in London, or somethin’. Can’t keep track of all these details. All I know is, he punches people, and sometimes he wins, and sometimes he loses. That’s about the gist of it.
Prior to his fights, they talk about ‘em, build ‘em up, you know? Like they’re the biggest thing since sliced bread. And then they fight, and someone wins, and someone loses, and then they do it all over again with someone else. It’s a whole lotta hoopla, if you ask me. But I guess that’s how they make their money, these boxin’ fellas and these influencers. Gotta put on a show, gotta keep folks interested.
They say he is continuing the trend set by KSI. Don’t know who this KSI fella is, but I guess he’s another one of them punchin’ influencers. Seems like everyone wants to be a boxer these days. Maybe I shoulda taken up boxin’ when I was younger. Coulda been famous, coulda been rich. But nah, I was too busy workin’ the farm and raisin’ kids. Didn’t have time for punchin’ people.
Anyway, that’s about all I know about this Salt Papi fella and his boxing record. Seems like he’s doin’ alright for himself, winnin’ some, losin’ some. And folks are watchin’ him, so I guess that’s what matters. Me? I’ll stick to watchin’ the chickens and tendin’ the garden. That’s enough excitement for this old lady.
And you know what? He had some matches and people like to know where he stands amongst the others. Influencers boxing, it’s a new thing for young people these days, not like us, back in my days, we just work on farms.
