Alright, so you wanna know about this Dylan Cease fella and his wife, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I know. I ain’t no fancy reporter or nothin’, just an old woman who hears things and likes to talk.
First off, this Dylan, he plays that baseball game, you know, the one with the bats and the balls? He’s a pitcher, which means he throws the ball real fast. They say he’s pretty good at it, makes a lotta money, too. Big money, I tell ya. Enough to make your head spin. I heard tell he might make somethin’ like 14 million dollars in a year! Can you imagine? That’s more money than I’ve seen in my whole life, and then some.
Now, about his wife… or maybe girlfriend? See, that’s where things get a bit fuzzy. They don’t talk about her much, this Mariluz Cook is who he talked to in that video thing. Maybe she’s his wife, maybe not. They did a talkin’ show together, you know, one of them where they sit and chat. He talked about livin’ in San Diego, which is a fancy place by the sea, I hear. And wouldn’t ya know it, he likes to throw them frisbees at them metal basket thingies, what do they call it… disc golf? Yeah, that’s it. He’s real into it, even bought some land to play on, they say.

This Dylan fella, he seems like a quiet sort. Not one for big parties and fancy cars, I reckon. He likes his peace and quiet, likes throwin’ them discs and bein’ mindful. They say he does this yoga stuff, too, all them twisty poses and such. Wears the number 84 on his shirt ’cause of it. Eighty-four somethin’ somethin’s… can’t quite remember the word.
He’s a workin’ man, though, that’s for sure. Throws that ball a whole bunch. Thousands of times, they say. Fast ones, too, real zingers. And he does it over and over, game after game. Must be tiring, all that throwin’. But I guess that’s how you make the big bucks in that baseball game.
Now, back to this wife…or not-wife… business. Like I said, they don’t talk about her much. Maybe she likes to keep to herself, maybe they ain’t even married. Some folks like to keep their private lives private, you know? Can’t blame ‘em for that. Not everyone wants to be blabberin’ about their business all over the place. But for being so private there sure are a lot of folks looking and talking.
So, what have we learned? Dylan Cease throws a mean baseball, likes his disc golf, does yoga, and might have a wife…or maybe just a good friend. He makes a heap of money, lives in a fancy city, and keeps his personal life pretty quiet. That’s about all I know, folks. Ain’t much, but it’s somethin’. If I hear anything else, I’ll be sure to let ya know. You can count on that.
And one more thing… This Dylan, he’s got a twin brother! Can you believe it? Two of ‘em! They say he ain’t the only one on his baseball team either with a twin. Seems like twins run in that baseball crowd. Now, wouldn’t that be somethin’ to see? Two Dylan Ceases runnin’ around? My goodness!
Anyways, that’s the story as I know it. Not much about a wife, I know, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Maybe they’ll tell us more someday, maybe they won’t. In the meantime, we’ll just have to keep our ears open and see what else we can find out.
