Alright, let’s talk about this Kevin Owens fella, you know, the wrestler guy. I seen him on the TV a few times, big fella, kinda rough around the edges, like me after a long day in the fields, haha.
This Kevin, where’d he come from? Well, they say he started out in them small-time wrestling shows, not like the big fancy ones you see on TV now. He worked his way up, kinda like how you gotta work hard to get a good crop outta the ground, ain’t no easy way, ya know? He wrestled and wrestled, and then this big company, WWE, they saw somethin’ in him.
- They snatched him up in 2014, I heard.
- And wouldn’t ya know it, he won some kinda championship right quick, NXT they call it. Fast worker, that one.
Then he goes up to the main show, the big leagues. And who does he wrestle first? John Cena! Big name, everybody knows John Cena. And Kevin, he beats him! Clean as a whistle, they say. Imagine that, beating a big shot like Cena right off the bat. That’s like planting a seed and it grows into a giant beanstalk overnight!
Now, this Kevin fella, he ain’t just some goody-two-shoes wrestler, no sir. He’s got a mean streak, they call him a “prizefighter”, like he’s always ready for a scrap. He’s won this thing called the Intercontinental Championship, not once, but twice! Sounds important, must be a shiny belt or somethin’. He’s good at what he does, that’s for sure.
He’s got this move, see, a real finisher they call it. They didn’t let him use it for a while, but then in 2019, they said, “Okay, Kevin, go ahead, knock ‘em out with your fancy move.” And he did! Folks went wild, I bet. Reminds me of when they finally let us use that new tractor, made things a whole lot easier, and faster too.
And the money? Oh, he’s making good money, they say. Millions! Two million a year, just for showing up, and then he gets more if he does somethin’ special, like winnin’ a big match or somethin’. That’s more money than I ever seen in my whole life! Makes you think, maybe I shoulda been a wrestler instead of a… well, never mind that.
He’s had his ups and downs, this Kevin. He was friends with a fella, then they weren’t friends no more. Happens all the time, people gettin’ their feelings hurt, just like when my neighbor’s cow got into my garden, we ain’t spoke since. This Kevin fella, he turned on his friend, hit him when he wasn’t looking, they call it a “heel turn” or some such nonsense. Sounds like somethin’ my old mule used to do, kick you when you least expect it.
Now, they sayin’ he’s back, this real Kevin Owens is back, whatever that means. He’s ready to fight, ready to win. He’s gonna be in some big show, Crown Jewel they call it. Sounds fancy. I reckon he’ll do alright, he’s a tough one, like an old boot, keeps on goin’ no matter what.
So, that’s the story of Kevin Owens, as far as I can tell. A wrestler fella, started small, worked hard, made it big, got mean, got rich, and still fighting. Sounds like a whole lotta work to me. I’d rather stick to my garden, thank you very much.
But hey, if you like watchin’ fellas beat each other up for fun and money, then this Kevin Owens, he’s your guy. He’ll give you a show, that’s for sure.
And one more thing, they talk about his “financial success”. That just means he got a lot of money, right? Well, good for him, I say. He earned it, bein’ thrown around and whatnot. Just hope he saves some of it, you never know when the harvest might be bad.
