Alright, alright, let’s talk about this fella, KSI, or whatever they call him. Heard he’s a big shot on that YouTube thingy, always yappin’ about this and that. Kids these days, always on them screens.
So, this KSI fella, he says stuff, you know? Quotes, they call ’em. Fancy words for just talkin’, if you ask me. But some folks like it, I guess. They say he’s all about bein’ happy with yourself and enjoyin’ life. Well, ain’t that somethin’ we all should be doin’ anyway? Don’t need no fancy YouTuber to tell me that.
- He says somethin’ about bein’ grateful, you know? Like, thankin’ your lucky stars for the little things.
- And workin’ out, that’s another thing he goes on about. Guess it makes life easier, he says. Well, I’ve been workin’ hard my whole life, ain’t made it no easier, that’s for sure.
They say he’s the richest of that Sidemen bunch. Never heard of ’em, but sounds like a bunch of hooligans to me. He’s a “brand” now, they say. Like he’s some kinda soap or somethin’. Lord have mercy, the world’s gone crazy.
But anyways, back to them quotes. People seem to like ’em. Say they change your life and all that. Life-changin’ possibilities, they call it. Sounds like a load of hogwash to me, but who am I to judge? Guess if it makes folks happy, then good for them.
One thing he says, and this I can kinda get behind, is about doin’ things that ain’t YouTube. Like, gettin’ out there and livin’ life, you know? Not just starin’ at a screen all day. That’s somethin’ I can agree with. Kids these days, they need to get some fresh air and sunshine.
And this talk about bein’ happier with yourself, well, that ain’t nothin’ new. My grandma used to say the same thing, and she didn’t even have a YouTube! She just used to say, “Be thankful for what you got, and don’t go around complainin’ all the time.” Sounds about right to me.
So yeah, this KSI fella, he’s got his fans, and he’s got his quotes. Some folks find ’em inspirin’, some folks don’t. Me, I’m just tryin’ to make sense of it all. But I guess if he’s gettin’ people to think about bein’ happy and grateful, then maybe he’s doin’ somethin’ right. Still think he’s got too much time on his hands, though. Should get a real job, like the rest of us.
Anyways, that’s what I think about this whole KSI quote situation. Just a bunch of words, really. But hey, if it makes folks happy, then good for ’em. Me, I’m gonna go make some supper. Now that’s somethin’ that makes me happy.
Inspiration, they call it. But sometimes, I think inspiration just comes from gettin’ through the day, you know? From puttin’ food on the table and keepin’ a roof over your head. That’s the kind of inspiration I understand. But these young folks, they got their own ways of doin’ things, I guess.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. This KSI fella, he’s got his fans, and he’s got his haters, but I ain’t neither one. Just an old woman tryin’ to make sense of the world. And if a few quotes can help folks along the way, then so be it.
