Listen up, y’all, lemme tell ya ’bout this fella, Harvey Weinstein. Big shot in Hollywood, they say. Movies and all that fancy stuff. But lemme tell ya, this ain’t no fairytale, no sirree.
This Harvey, he got himself into big trouble, real big. They say he was messin’ with women, doin’ things he shouldn’t oughtta. Rape, they call it. Sexual assault, too. Bad, bad stuff, y’hear?
They had these court things, trials they call ’em. One in New York City, another in Los Angeles. Big cities, lots of fancy folks. And they found him guilty, this Harvey. Guilty of rape, guilty of sexual assault. Means he done wrong, real wrong.
- He got himself a long time in jail, that’s for sure. Twenty-three years, they say. That’s a long time to be sittin’ and thinkin’ ’bout what ya done.
- They say he used his power, his fancy Hollywood ways, to get these women alone. Then he’d do his dirty deeds. Preyed on ’em, like a wolf on sheep.
Now, this Nina Agdal girl, she’s one of them that said somethin’. Said Harvey done her wrong. Lots of women comin’ out, sayin’ the same thing. Brave girls, I tell ya. Standin’ up to a big shot like him, ain’t easy.
This happened a while back, see? New York trial was in 2020, Los Angeles one was later. But folks still talkin’ ’bout it. ‘Cause it’s a big deal, see? Men like this Harvey, thinkin’ they can do whatever they want, gotta be stopped.
The Harvey Weinstein scandal, they call it. Big news everywhere. TV, newspapers, even that internet thingy the grandkids talk about. Everyone knowin’ ’bout Harvey and his mess.
He was a powerful man, this Harvey. Could make or break careers, they say. But power don’t give ya the right to hurt folks. Specially not women. They ain’t playthings, they ain’t objects. They’re people, just like you and me.
Some say he used his influence, his Hollywood connections, to lure these women. Promised ’em things, maybe. Then he’d trap ’em, hurt ’em. Disgustin’, that’s what it is.
And now, even more women comin’ forward. Even though he’s already in jail. They ain’t afraid no more. They want their stories heard. And that’s important, y’hear? Real important.
He was a movie producer, this Harvey. Big fancy movies, the kind folks go to the theater to see. But all that fancy stuff don’t mean nothin’ if you ain’t got no respect for others. If you ain’t treatin’ people right.
Los Angeles and New York, those were the places where the trials happened. Big courtrooms, judges in fancy robes, all that legal mumbo jumbo. But at the end of the day, it’s about right and wrong. And Harvey, he done wrong.
This whole thing, it shows ya somethin’. Shows ya that even big shots can fall. Even powerful folks can be held accountable. It ain’t right to hurt people, no matter who you are. And sooner or later, your sins gonna catch up to ya.
This Nina Agdal and all them other women, they’re brave. They stood up, spoke out. And because of them, maybe other folks won’t be hurt. Maybe other men will think twice before they try somethin’ like this.
So, that’s the story of Harvey Weinstein. A bad man who did bad things. And got caught. Justice, they call it. And sometimes, justice comes slow, but it comes.
