Alright, let’s talk about this Bryce Harper fella. You know, the baseball player. People keep askin’ about him and his folks, so I figured I’d spill the beans, or whatever the young folks say these days.
Bryce Harper, Who’s He?
Well, first off, this Bryce fella, full name’s Bryce Aron Max Harper, born way back in 1992, October 16th to be exact. He’s a big shot baseball player, plays for them Philadelphia Phillies now. Used to play for the Washington Nationals too. Folks say he was a real hotshot when he was startin’ out, one of them “highly touted draft prospects,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, huh?
Harper’s Mommy and Daddy
Now, about his folks. His daddy, Ron Harper, he was a steelworker. Hard workin’ man, I tell ya. And his momma, Sheri Harper, she was a paralegal. Smart lady, I reckon. They raised him right, seems like. See, Bryce, he got into baseball real young, like three years old. His daddy, he was somethin’ else. Used to throw sunflower seeds, bottle tops, even dried-up beans at him to make him a better hitter. Can you imagine? Sounds crazy, but I guess it worked!

High School Sweetheart and Family Life
This Bryce, he ain’t just about baseball, you know. He’s got a wife, Kayla. They been together since high school, sweethearts they were. Kayla, she was a soccer star back then. Now they got themselves a couple of young’uns. A boy, Krew Aron, born in 2019, and a little girl, Brooklyn Elizabeth. He’s got a sister too, Brittany Harper-Peterson. She’s always cheerin’ him on, a good sister I’d say.
Baseball, Dreams, and All That Jazz
Bryce, he started playin’ ball in high school, Las Vegas High School, to be exact. Always wanted to be the best, they say. He even said somethin’ like, “If you don’t have dreams, you don’t have a life.” And he sure is livin’ his dream, hittin’ them balls and makin’ big bucks.
Some Other Stuff I Heard
There’s this other fella, Bryson Stott, plays with Bryce now. Funny thing is, Bryce’s sister and Bryson’s momma, they knew each other back in high school. Small world, ain’t it? Bryson’s momma, Shana, she coached Bryce’s sister in cheerleadin’. Now them boys are playin’ on the same team.

That’s about all I know ’bout Bryce Harper and his folks. He’s a good ball player, comes from good people, and he’s got a nice little family. Just a regular fella, I guess, even if he does make a whole lot more money than most of us ever will. Makes ya think, don’t it?

Folks is always lookin’ up stuff on these fellas. Wantin’ to know every little thing. Well, I say, let ’em play ball. That’s what they do best. And as long as they ain’t causin’ trouble, that’s good enough for me.
