Alright, let’s talk about this Sung Kim Lee person. I don’t know much, but I’ll tell ya what I heard.
Who is this Sung Kim Lee, anyway? Seems like a fancy name, like them city folks. I heard tell Sung is a Chinese name, a real common one over there. And Kim? Well, that’s Korean, like them kimchi-eatin’ folks. Lee, too, that’s another one of them common names, Chinese or Korean, hard to say. So, this Sung Kim Lee, could be from anywhere over there, China, Korea, who knows? Maybe even born here, in America, you know how it is, people movin’ around.
Now, I heard tell on the TV about some Korean show, somethin’ about a mystery death. They said it was a K-pop star from way back when, 1995 they said. Don’t know if this Sung Kim Lee was that star, they didn’t say the name. But it makes ya wonder, all these famous folks, they got troubles too, just like us. Maybe even more, with all that money and people starin’ at ’em all the time.
- Kim and Lee, big names in Korea: I heard this on the radio, some smarty-pants talkin’. Said way back when, in some Korean kingdom, Kim was the name of the rulers, for like, 700 years! That’s a long time, even for an old lady like me. And Lee, that’s common too, like Smith or Jones is over here.
- Sung is a Chinese name mostly: This same smarty-pants on the radio, he said most folks named Sung, they got Chinese roots. But then he said some are Korean too. Confusin’, right? Well, life’s confusin’. Don’t you go worryin’ your head about it too much.
Then there’s these Korean TV shows. They’re all the rage now, even my grandkids watch ’em. I saw one, channel surfin’ you know, and there was this pretty girl, Lee Sung somethin’ or other. Real pretty, but her life on the show, oh honey, it was a mess. Father troubles, mistresses, just like one of them soap operas, only with them funny-soundin’ words. Another show had a mysterious woman named Ji Young, played by some actress Kim, waitin’ at a bus stop. And there’s talk of a new show comin’ out, with some actors named Song Joong Ki and Lee Joo Myung. Lots of Kims and Lees in them shows, see? So, maybe this Sung Kim Lee, maybe she’s an actress, or a singer, or just a regular person with a famous-soundin’ name.
It’s all a bit of a puzzle, ain’t it? This Sung Kim Lee could be anyone. Famous, maybe. Or just a regular person with a name that’s got history behind it. Makes you think, don’t it? Every name has a story, just like every person does. Even plain old names like mine, we all got stories. And this Sung Kim Lee, well, her story is a mystery to me, but I bet it’s a good one. Maybe one day we’ll find out more, maybe not. That’s life for ya.
