Alright, let’s talk about this Masters thingy, the golf one, you know? They had one in 2023, and those fellas, they hit the ball a whole bunch. Now, I ain’t no golfer, mind you. I’m just tellin’ it like I see it.
So, they tell me there were 93 of them players, hittin’ the ball all over the place. And they say they “parred” a lot. What’s a par? Don’t ask me! Sounds fancy, though. They say they did that par thing 3029 times in 2023. That’s a whole lotta pars, ain’t it? More than the hairs on my head, that’s for sure.

- Birdies: 880 of them little birdies. They say it’s good to get a birdie, like finding a dollar in your pocket.
Now, this year, 2024, they say they did even more of that par thing. 3202 times! Someone named Scotty, he won. Good for him. Guess he parred a whole heap.
They got this place, Augusta National, where they do all this hittin’. Sounds fancy, like a place where rich folks go. They say it’s a tough course, real tough. Guess it ain’t like my backyard, then. My backyard’s got more weeds than grass.
Someone named Jack, they say he’s a real birdie-getter. Got more birdies than a chicken coop! 506 of ’em, they say. No wonder he won so many times. He probably knows all about this par thing too.
They got scorecards and leaderboards and all sorts of things to keep track. Sounds complicated. I just count my eggs in the mornin’ and that’s complicated enough for me. They say this Jon Rahm fella won last year, 2023. Got himself a nice chunk of change, too. Good for him. Money don’t grow on trees, ya know. Unless you’re one of them fancy golfers, I guess.
So, there you have it. A whole bunch of pars at this Masters thing. More pars in 2024 than in 2023. And some fellas hittin’ birdies left and right. Golf, it’s a strange game. They hit a little ball with a stick and walk around a big field. But hey, if they like it, good for ’em.
I heard they got this YouTube video about how to count these pars. Some fella talkin’ and showin’ charts and stuff. I ain’t got time for that. Too much talkin’, not enough doin’. I’d rather be in my garden, pullin’ weeds than watchin’ a video about golf pars.
They give scores and stuff. This one fella, Jon, he was the best in 2023, they say. Twelve somethin’ under, whatever that means. Got a big ol’ pile of money for it too. More money than I see in a year, I betcha. Must be nice to be good at hittin’ that little ball.
So, all in all, those golfers did a lot of par-makin’ in 2023 and even more in 2024. And they hit some birdies too. And someone won some money. That’s about all I know. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens.
