Alright, alright, let me tell you somethin’ about this fella, Khamzat…Khamzat Chim… Chim… Chimayev, somethin’ like that. This young’un, they talkin’ ’bout him all over the place. They say he’s tough as nails, a real scrapper.
Khamzat Chimaev No Beard, that’s what they’re all yappin’ about. Now, I ain’t got no TV, but I hear things. Folks in the market, they gossipin’, sayin’ this fella, he used to have this big ol’ beard, like a mountain man. Scary lookin’, real scary. But then, poof! Gone! Clean shaven like a baby’s bottom.
Makes you think, don’t it? What happened to that beard? Maybe he lost a bet? Maybe his wife, if he’s got one, told him to shave it off. Women, they don’t like no scratchy beards, I tell ya. Or maybe… maybe he’s just tryin’ to trick folks. Make ’em think he’s not so tough anymore, then bam! He whacks ’em good.
- He’s a fighter, that’s for sure.
- Knocks folks out cold, they say.
- Half of them fellas he fought, they ended up lookin’ at the ceiling lights, not knowin’ where they are.
Lucky, some of ’em, real lucky. They got away with just a beatin’. Coulda been worse, you know? Coulda been a whole lot worse. This Khamzat fella, he ain’t playin’ around.
Now, about that beard… I heard tell he was sick. Real sick. Somethin’ inside him, not workin’ right. Maybe that’s why he shaved it off? Maybe the doctors told him to. They say he showed folks pictures… pictures of him lookin’ all pale and weak. Made me think of my old man, he looked like that when he had the… well, never mind that. It ain’t right to talk about sick folks like that.
But this Khamzat, he’s still young, still strong, even without the beard. Don’t you go thinkin’ he’s soft now, just ‘cause he ain’t got that bushy thing on his face. He’s still the same fella, the one who knocks folks out. The one who makes other fighters run scared. Beard or no beard, it don’t matter none.
Khamzat Chimaev’s Career, it’s somethin’ special, ain’t it? Comin’ from far away, fightin’ all over the place. He’s got that fire in his belly, that want to win. Reminds me of my grandpappy, he used to wrestle hogs back in the day. Tough as old boots, he was. This Khamzat, he’s got that same toughness.
And you know what? It ain’t just about the fightin’. It’s about the… the… the showmanship, I guess they call it. He’s got folks talkin’, that’s for sure. Beard or no beard, sick or healthy, they still talkin’ about him. And that’s half the battle, right? Gettin’ folks to notice you, to care about what you’re doin’.
So, don’t go frettin’ about that beard. It ain’t nothin’ but hair. What matters is the fight, the heart, the spirit. And this Khamzat fella, he’s got plenty of that, beard or no beard. He’ll be back, you just wait and see. He’ll be back, and he’ll be knockin’ folks out, just like he always did. And maybe, just maybe, that beard will grow back too. Who knows? Only time will tell.
But one thing’s for sure, this fella is tough. Real tough. And that ain’t gonna change, no matter how much hair he got on his face, or don’t got.
