Alright, let’s talk about this Angela Vannice, eh? I heard some things, you know, the kind of stuff folks whisper about at the market. Seems like she was hitched to that baseball fella, Johnny Damon. Johnny Damon, yeah, the one who swung that bat real good. Big shot, they say.
Now, from what I gather, things weren’t always sunshine and roses for Angela. They got hitched way back in 1992, young’uns they were, I reckon. December 18th, to be exact. Don’t ask me how I know, just heard it from someone who heard it from someone else, you know how it goes in small towns… or even big ones, I guess.

- Married Johnny Damon in 1992
- Things got rough, husband apparently strayed
- Divorced in 2002
Anyway, they had themselves some kids, I think. Devon, Danica, Dasha, Dreanna… those are some fancy names, ain’t they? Not like the Marys and Johns we used to have ’round here. But yeah, four little ones running around, and Angela, she’s probably busy as a bee in a flower patch, keeping them fed and clothed.
But then, the whispers started. Seems like Johnny, well, he had a wandering eye. Other women, they say. Can you believe it? A man with a good wife and four kids, messing around. Tsk tsk. Men, I tell ya, sometimes they ain’t got the sense God gave a goose.
So, the marriage, it didn’t last. They split up in 2002. Divorce, they called it. Must’ve been hard on Angela, real hard. Picking up the pieces, raising them kids all by herself. That ain’t easy, no sir. Takes a strong woman, that’s for sure. And from what I hear, Angela, she’s as strong as they come.
Now, Johnny, he went off and married someone else, a Michelle Mangan. Two years later, in 2004, down in Orlando. Fancy wedding, I bet. But Angela, she was probably still figuring things out, getting back on her feet.
Johnny Damon, he played baseball, made a lot of money, they say. Millions! Can you imagine? Signed a big contract with the New York Yankees, fifty-two million dollars over four years. That’s more money than I’ll ever see in my whole life, and probably yours too. But money ain’t everything, is it? It don’t buy you happiness, and it sure don’t keep a man from straying, seems like.
Angela, she probably didn’t care much about the money, not after all that heartache. She just wanted to raise her kids right, give them a good life. And that’s what she did, I’m sure of it. Mothers, they’re like that, always putting their kids first. Selfless, they are.

So, there you have it. The story of Angela Vannice, as best as I can piece it together. A woman who loved, lost, and kept on going. A strong woman, a mother, a survivor. That’s the kind of person I admire, you know? Someone who picks themselves up and keeps on fighting, no matter what life throws at them. And you know what else they say? That Johnny, he lives down in Florida now, with that new wife and all their kids. Eight of ’em, they say! Land sakes, that’s a whole heap of mouths to feed.
So Angela? I hope she found her peace after all that. She deserves it. And that Johnny? Well, I guess he got what he wanted too. But sometimes I wonder if he ever thinks about those early days, about Angela and those four little girls. Life’s a funny thing, ain’t it? Full of twists and turns, ups and downs. But you gotta keep on keepin’ on, that’s what I always say. Just like Angela, I bet she did.
