Well, let me tell ya, I ain’t no expert in fancy golf stuff, but I reckon you wanna know a little somethin’ about Susan Persichitte and her hubby, David Duval. Now, back in the year 2003, Susan and David met at some restaurant in Denver, while he was there for a golf tournament, somethin’ called The International, I think. They hit it off right away, and by November of that same year, they got engaged. Fast forward a bit, and come March 2004, they were weddin’ up. Been goin’ strong ever since, I reckon.
Now, y’know, David, he was a big name in the golf world at one point. He won some big ol’ tournament in 2001, the Open Championship, somethin’ with rounds of 65 and 67. But after that, things didn’t go so well for him. His game started fallin’ apart around the same time he met Susan, and never really bounced back. They got married and started a family, though, so at least he had somethin’ good comin’ out of it.
They had their first little one, a boy named Brady, in 2005. Then, in 2008, they had a girl, Sienna. Cute names, ain’t they? Been raisin’ their young’uns together, and seem like a happy little family. Though, I do hear Tiger Woods and David Duval ain’t chummy no more like they used to be. Back in the day, them two were real close, but I guess life took ’em different ways.
In fact, after his playing days slowed down, David started workin’ as a golf analyst on the Golf Channel. Ain’t quite the same as swingin’ a club on the green, but it’s somethin’. Don’t know if you remember, but David was a pretty big deal in the golf world back in the late ’90s and early 2000s. He was always goin’ head to head with Tiger, but like I said, they ain’t talkin’ much now. Ain’t that a shame?
But Susan, she’s been with him through it all. From his ups to his downs, she stuck by him. They ain’t no glamorous couple on the front of magazines, but they seem to be a good match. Ain’t that what really matters, after all? Love and family. Ain’t nothin’ better than that.
