Alright, so I was wandering around Fontaine, you know, doing the usual stuff – opening chests, solving puzzles, finishing up quests. I started racking up these Hydro Sigils pretty quickly. Saw that shiny Fountain of Lucine near the Opera Epiclese and figured, okay, this is where these things go.
After offering a few batches, I started wondering, just how many of these sigils do I actually need to max this thing out? Like, what’s the total count I should be aiming for? I didn’t want to just keep throwing them in without knowing the end goal.

So, I went back to the Fountain. Checked it out properly this time. I saw the current maximum level was Level 50. Okay, that’s the target.
Then I looked at the cost for each level up. Every single level, from the first to the last, needed exactly 30 Hydro Sigils. It wasn’t like some other offering systems where the cost changes. Nice and simple, thankfully.
So, I just did the basic math in my head. 50 levels total, and each one costs 30 sigils.
50 levels 30 sigils per level = 1500 sigils.
There it was. 1500 Hydro Sigils. That’s the magic number you need to get the Fountain of Lucine all the way to level 50 and claim all those rewards.
It sounded like a hefty amount at first, but honestly, just playing through Fontaine normally, doing the exploration and quests, gets you a huge chunk of them without even trying too hard. I just kept exploring, opening every chest I found, doing world quests, and offering the sigils whenever I passed by the fountain. Seeing the level go up felt pretty good, knowing I was chipping away at that 1500 total.

So yeah, that’s the number based on my own process of checking it out in-game. 1500 sigils to max it out. Keep exploring, you’ll get there!
