Okay, so I’ve been messing around with different terminal color schemes, you know, trying to find something that’s easy on the eyes and looks cool. I stumbled upon this thing called “wuwa afterglow coral,” and I decided to give it a shot. Here’s how it went.
First, I had to figure out what “wuwa” even was. Turns out, it’s like, a collection of themes for various terminals and editors. Afterglow is one of theme, and Coral is the color for Afterglow . Cool, got it.

I use iTerm2 on my Mac, so I went looking for instructions specific to that. Found some stuff, it looked, manageable.
The Actual Doing Part
- I searched.I found a GitHub, followed the instruction.
- I downloaded a file. Specifically, an “itermcolors” file. It had “wuwa” and “coral” in the name, so, yeah, that seemed right.
- Opened iTerm2 preferences. You know, the usual, Command-Comma.
- Navigated to the “Profiles” tab. Then to color part.
- Found the “Colors” thingy. Yep, that’s where the magic happens.
- Import. There was a little dropdown at the bottom. I clicked it and chose “Import…”.
- Selected the file I downloaded. The “*” one.
- Chose it! Another dropdown, but this time it was a list of color schemes. My new “wuwa” thing was there. I selected it.
Boom! My terminal was instantly… well, coral. And a bit of other colors, too. It’s definitely a different vibe than what I was using before. It’s kinda warm, not too harsh. I dig it.
My Result
It is great for me ,the color is soft for my eyes.I think I’ll keep this one around for a while. I’ve been staring at it for a few hours now, and my eyes aren’t screaming, which is always a good sign. It’s also just, you know, pretty.
So, yeah, that’s my “wuwa afterglow coral” adventure. Not exactly rocket science, but hey, a nice little customization that makes my terminal time a bit more enjoyable.
