Okay, so last night, I decided to tune into the Genshin 4.7 livestream. I’ve been kinda hyped for the new update, and I really wanted to see what’s coming.
First, I grabbed my phone and my iPad. You know, gotta have dual screens for maximum efficiency. One for the stream itself, and the other one for taking notes and maybe checking the community’s live reactions.

I settled down on my couch, making sure I had a comfy blanket and a big glass of water. Livestreams can be long, and I gotta stay hydrated, right?
Next, I opened up YouTube on my phone and searched for the official Genshin Impact channel. I made sure I had notifications turned on, ’cause I didn’t wanna miss the start.
While waiting, I browsed around the Genshin subreddit a bit. Just to see what everyone was expecting and hoping for. People were posting their predictions and wishlists, it was pretty fun to read.
Then, finally, the countdown timer on the stream appeared! I quickly opened up my notes app on the iPad, ready to jot down anything important.
The Stream Started!
The hosts came on, super energetic as always. They started chatting about the game and the community, building up the excitement.
- New Characters:They revealed the new characters! I was so pumped. There are Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos!
- New Story Quests: They teased some really juicy story details. I won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say it’s gonna be intense!
- New Events: They went over the new events and minigames. I saw a combat challenge and other funny minigame, Can’t wait to try.
- System Optimizations: There are always some QoL changes, like increasing the original resin cap.
- Redeem Codes: Best of all! They dropped some redeem codes! Gotta input them as fast as possible.
Throughout the stream, I kept typing notes, pausing the stream when I missed something or if a redeem code appeared. And I quickly input the redeem codes into the game.

After the stream ended, I went back to the subreddit and the official Genshin Discord to discuss everything with other players. It’s always fun to share the hype and theories.
All in all, it was a successful livestream viewing experience. Got my info, got my codes, and now I’m even more excited for 4.7!
