Okay, so today I decided to tackle the 4.7 Abyss. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster!
First, I scouted the enemy lineup. I always do this. Knowing what you’re up against is half the battle, right? I saw a bunch of those annoying Rifthounds, so I knew I needed a solid healer.

Team Building Time
For the first half, I went with my trusty National Team variation. You know, the classic Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, plus Sucrose for some crowd control and swirl action. These guys are my go-to when I need consistent damage and reactions.
The second half was a bit trickier. I initially tried a Hyperbloom team with Alhaitham, Nahida, Xingqiu, and Kuki. It worked… okay, but the clear time wasn’t great. I felt like I was missing something.
The Struggle Was Real
I spent a good hour just messing around with different combinations. I swapped out characters, changed artifacts, and even leveled up some talents. It was frustrating, to be honest. Sometimes you just hit a wall, you know?
- Attempt 1: National Team (first half), Hyperbloom (second half) – Too slow.
- Attempt 2: Swapped Sucrose for Kazuha in the first half – Slightly better, but still not perfect.
- Attempt 3: Completely changed the second half team to a Taser comp with Beidou, Fischl, Xingqiu, and Sucrose. – This was the winner!
Finally, Success!
The Taser team on the second half was the key. The Electro-Charged reactions just melted through those Rifthounds like butter. It was so satisfying to finally see those 36 stars pop up!
The biggest lesson I learned today? Don’t be afraid to experiment! Even if your first few attempts fail, keep tweaking and trying new things. Sometimes the solution is something you wouldn’t expect.
Also to never be afraid of spending time to find the optimal solution, sometimes it doesn’t come as easy as it appears.
