Okay, so I was playing Elden Ring the other day, totally obsessed with getting all the sorceries, you know? And I needed this one spell, and for that, I needed the Glintstone Kris. I’d heard whispers of it online, seen some blurry screenshots, but nothing concrete on where to actually find the darn thing. So, I started my quest, totally clueless, but determined.
My Scramble for the Kris
First, I did what any sane person would do – I Googled it. Typed in “where is Glintstone Kris Elden Ring” and hoped for the best. I got a bunch of forum posts, some vague, some just plain wrong. A few videos popped up, but they were all clickbaity “top 10 secrets” type deals, and I didn’t want to waste an hour just to maybe find out.
I spent a good hour just running around, checking every nook and cranny of the areas I thought it might be in. Based on the name, and a little picture, I hit up all the places with Glintstone, I went back and checked to see if it was a monster drop. No luck.
Then, finally, after what felt like forever, I went to look at some sorcery. I went and checked on Sellen, and it was not something she sold so I continued to look at her quest, which is how I found it!
Finally Got It!
You have to complete Sellen’s questline. It wasn’t super obvious at first how all the pieces fit together, and I did a lot of backtracking to double check everything. I will say after I finished it, and got the Glintstone Kris.
So, yeah, that’s my story of how I finally tracked down the Glintstone Kris. It was a bit of a pain, but totally worth it in the end. If you’re hunting for it too, I hope my little adventure helps you out!
