Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Wuthering Waves lately, and man, those red enemies – they’re a whole different beast. I wanted to share my experience figuring them out, ’cause it was a bit of a struggle at first.
Getting Started
Initially, I just ran into the game, swords blazing, like I do with most games. Big mistake! These red-tinged baddies? They don’t play by the normal rules. I got my butt handed to me… repeatedly. I started noticing patterns, that when enemies turn all glowy and red, that means the game’s difficulty is cranked up, So I needed to figure out how to deal with that red glow.

Experimenting
First, I tried just straight-up dodging. Sometimes it worked, sometimes I got smacked. It wasn’t reliable enough, especially when there were multiple red enemies on screen. I was dodging like crazy, but it wasn’t a real strategy, more like panic mode.
Then I focused on parrying. This was a bit better. The timing was tricky, for sure, but if I nailed it, I could stagger them and get some good hits in. But again, with a bunch of them coming at me? Hard to parry everything.
The “Aha!” Moment
After some trial and error, I figured it out. Here’s what you must do:
- Watch for the Red Glow: When an enemy goes red, that’s your cue. They’re about to unleash something nasty.
- Perfect Dodge/Parry Timing: This is key. You can’t just button-mash. You gotta wait for that exact moment before they attack. It’s a tight window, but practice makes perfect.
- Use Intro and Outro Skills:.
- Counterattack!: After successfully parrying, you can then start the real hitting.
Seriously, that’s what finally clicked for me. It changed the game from frustrating to challenging-but-fun. It made me feel like a total badass when I finally started clearing those red enemy encounters without constantly dying.
Keep Practicing!
Even now, I still mess up sometimes. But the difference is, I know what I’m supposed to do. It’s all about getting that muscle memory down. So, don’t get discouraged if you’re struggling with the red enemies. Just keep at it, focus on those parries and dodges, and you’ll get there!
