Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Genshin Impact lately, and I realized I needed a better way to keep track of all the materials I need for leveling up characters and weapons. It was getting messy, with notes scribbled everywhere. So, I decided to get organized. Here’s how I did it:
Gathering My Tools
First, I grabbed a notebook and pen. I thought about going digital, but I like having something physical to write on. Plus, I can doodle in the margins when I’m bored.

Listing It All Out
Next, I started making lists. I went through each character I use regularly and wrote down all the materials they need for ascension and talents. Then, I did the same for my weapons. It was a bit of a pain at first, but it felt good to see it all laid out.
Creating a System
- I divided the notebook pages into sections: one for characters, one for weapons.
- Under each character/weapon, I have sub-sections for ascension materials and talent materials.
- Then i decided which character and weapon i should update.
- I used different colored pens for each type of material, just to make it visually easier to see what I’m low on.
Keeping Track of Progress
Now, whenever I farm materials, I update my notebook. I put a little checkmark next to each item I collect. This way, I can easily see what I still need to grab and which domains or bosses I need to hit up.
The Result
It’s been a game-changer, honestly. No more guessing, no more wasted resin. I can jump into the game, check my notebook, and know exactly what I need to do. It’s so much more efficient, and it feels way less chaotic. If you’re a serious Genshin player, I highly recommend doing something similar. You won’t regret it!
