Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Infinite Craft, and I saw some people talking about making “Germany.” Sounds simple enough, right? Well, it took me a bit of trial and error, but I finally figured it out, and let me tell you, it’s a bit of a journey. I made plenty of notes on the process!
Starting from Scratch
You always start with the basics: Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. My first thought was, “Okay, maybe I need to make ‘Europe’ somehow.” So, I spent a good chunk of time trying to combine things to get continents or something similar. I started by combining the simple stuff
- Fire + Water = Steam
- Earth + Water = Mud I thought, mud? really?
- Earth + Fire =Lava. Felt like i was getting somewhere!
Building Up (and Getting Stuck)
I played around with the Steam and that Lava I made.
- Steam + Earth = Geyser. Seemed important but…wasn’t.
- Lava + Water = Stone. Basic, got it.
- Stone + Fire = Metal.
I felt like I was making progress, creating all these “building blocks.” But I was also hitting dead ends. I tried combining all sorts of things with Metal, Stone, and Geyser, and just kept getting random stuff. It felt like I was wandering in the wilderness, i even tried to combine Geyser and Metal together, and i got a Robot…a Robot?
The Breakthrough Moment
Then it hit me. I needed to think about what makes Germany, well, Germany. I needed something cultural, not just geographical. That’s when I remembered something about Germany and cars. Cars! I used that Metal to build my car!
- Metal + Steam = Engine.
- Engine + Metal = Car.YES!
Now I needed to get the “Europe” part in there. I have the car, but how does Europe come into play?
- Earth + Earth = Mountain
- Water + Water = Lake.
- Lake + Mountain = Fjord.
I was a bit confused, what’s Fjord? I discovered Fjord is related to Scandinavia, which is in Europe…So I pressed on.
- Fjord + Car = Germany!
It felt so random, Fjord and Car got me Germany? But hey, it worked! I finally had “Germany” in my Infinite Craft collection. I guess the lesson is, sometimes you gotta think outside the box and not just stick to the obvious combinations.
