Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Baldur’s Gate 3 lately, and let me tell you, the “High Harper” questline is a BEAST. I wanted to share my experience, because, wow, it was a journey.
Getting Started
First things first, I stumbled upon this whole thing pretty much by accident. I was exploring the city, poking around in every nook and cranny, as you do. And then I started to find a series of notes, that lead to the beginning of the quest.

The Middle – It Gets Messy
- The first thing, I tracked down the initial contact, which led me to the main quest giver, a guy that had to be saved.
- After this, I had to figure out where all the Harper folks were. I must find them and get ready to defend.
- Then, it was all about making choices. Do I help this person? Do I betray that person? My head was spinning! I ended up making some pretty tough calls, and I’m still not sure if I did everything “right.”
The Climax and Resolution
Finally, I reached the “end” of the questline – or at least, what felt like the end. There was a big confrontation, some serious reveals, and, yeah, I’m not going to lie, I reloaded a few times to try different approaches. I get the sense that this quest is one I will have to do with other play-throughs to get a sense of finality.
I think I get it but I am still on my first play through, I may replay with a different character to see the other side of the coin.
