Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Baldur’s Gate 3 lately, and man, the utility spells are a GAME CHANGER. I wanted to share my experience messing around with them, because honestly, they’ve made my playthrough so much smoother.
Getting Started
First things first, I started a new game as a Wizard, because, you know, gotta have those spells! I made sure to pick up a few key utility spells early on. We’re talking things like:
- Feather Fall: Seriously, this one’s a lifesaver. No more embarrassing deaths from jumping off cliffs!
- Longstrider: Who wants to walk slow? Not me! This boosts your movement speed, and it’s awesome.
- Enhance Leap:Triple Jump Distance, combined it with Longstrider. You can cross the map very quick.
- Speak with Animals: I love me some cute little animal conversations, find some quest information.
Experimenting in the World
Once I got out into the world, I started experimenting. I used Feather Fall to reach places I normally couldn’t. The Enhance Leap, you will feel like a superhero. I also talk with every animal that i can find.
My “Aha!” Moment
The real “aha!” moment came when I realized I could combine these * example, using “Enhance Leap” and “Feather Fall” in quick succession makes travel super quick, and easy to some “unreachable” areas.
Refining My Strategy
After lots of trial and error, I refined my strategy.I’ve also started using these spells in combat, not just for exploration. It’s amazing how much easier it is to get around the battlefield.
