Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Genshin Impact lately, and I wanted to get my hands on the Absolution sword. I heard it’s pretty decent, especially for certain characters. So, I started this whole process, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey.
Getting Started: The Research Phase
First things first, I needed to figure out exactly how to even get this sword. I’m not exactly a Genshin wiki expert, so I did what anyone would do – I hit up the internet.
I spent a good chunk of time just reading through forums, watching some videos, and generally trying to absorb as much information as possible. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was necessary. I found out the weapon is only accessible in the gacha system. It’s a pain, I know, but I wanted the weapon, so, to the gacha I went.
The Grind:
The gacha, the gacha, oh how I “love” the gacha.
The Absolution is a 4-star weapon so it appears at a higher rate than 5-star weapons, so with enough pulls on the weapon banner I should be able to get my hands on the sword…right?
Wrong. After many, many pulls, I finally got the weapon. It took a lot of time, but after my persistance, there is was, in all its glory, the Absolution.
My Thoughts, and What I will do next
It’s all said and done, and after all that, it turned out to be a pretty cool addition to my collection. The stats seemed pretty good at first glance, and I was eager to try it out. Next step, level up the weapon!
