Okay, so I’ve been playing a TON of Dreamlight Valley lately, and I’ve been trying to cook every single recipe. I finally got around to trying the Spicy Baked Bream, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. Let me walk you through what I did.
Getting Started: The Ingredients
First things first, I needed to figure out the ingredients. I did some digging around and found out I’d need the following:

- Bream: I knew this was a fish, but I had to figure out where to catch it.
- Chili Pepper: These are pretty easy, and the recipe implied I needed some heat.
- Butter: Another easily buyable ingredients.
The Fishing Trip
So, I grabbed my fishing rod, and at first, I was totally lost. I kept catching other fish, I fished and fished, and then it HIT ME! I remember somebody saying that specific fish are in Peaceful Meadow. Bingo! I headed over there. I cast my line into the water and finally got one! I felt like a pro angler.
Spice Time!
Next up, I needed chili peppers. I can buy them from Goofy’s Stall. I sprinted over there and snatched them up. I already buy butter from Remy.
Cooking Time!
Finally, I was ready to cook! I went to the nearest cooking station, tossed in the Bream, the Chili Peppers, and the butter. I held my breath, hit the cook button, and… BOOM! Spicy Baked Bream, looking all golden and delicious.
It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, once I figured out those few key things. The important lesson? Catch Bream in Peaceful Meadow. Happy cooking, everyone!
