Okay, so I’ve been messing around with team comps in Genshin, and I finally got my “Raiden National” team up and running. It’s been pretty hyped, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Let me tell you, it’s been a blast.
Getting the Pieces Together
First things first, I needed the characters. I already had Raiden Shogun, thankfully. She’s the core, obviously. The tricky part was getting the others leveled and geared up.

- Raiden Shogun: I had her at C0, but even at C0 she slaps.
- Xiangling: Got her ages ago, never really used her much until now.
- Xingqiu: Another one I had sitting around. The bookworm finally gets his time to shine!
- Bennett: My lucky streak continues – pulled him early on. Seriously, this guy is broken.
Gearing Up – It’s Artifact Grind Time
Then came the real pain: artifacts. Oh, the artifact grind. I spent days in those domains. I watched so many videos about optimal stats and everything. It’s not perfect, but here’s what I roughly aimed for:
- Raiden: Emblem of Severed Fate set. Energy Recharge sands, ATK% goblet, Crit Rate/Damage circlet. Trying to balance that Energy Recharge and Crit!
- Xiangling: Also Emblem of Severed Fate. Energy Recharge or ATK% sands, Pyro DMG goblet, Crit Rate/Damage circlet. Gotta get that Pyronado popping!
- Xingqiu: A mix of Noblesse Oblige and Heart of Depth. Energy Recharge sands, Hydro DMG goblet, Crit Rate/Damage circlet. His burst is KEY.
- Bennett: Full Noblesse Oblige. Energy Recharge sands, HP% goblet, Healing Bonus circlet. Just need him to heal and buff!
Getting the perfect substats? Still working on it. Let’s just say RNGesus hasn’t been my best friend lately.
Setting up the talents
I prioritzed leveling the talents and get them all to at least level 6, some are maxed, some are at 8, just to get them to start working properly in the rotation, and it worked!
The Rotation – Making It All Work
The whole point of this team is the rotation. I practiced it in the overworld, against bosses, everywhere. It took a bit to get the hang of it, but now it’s like muscle memory. It’s basically:
- Start with Bennett’s Burst (Fantastic Voyage).
- Switch to Xingqiu, use his Burst (Guhua Sword: Raincutter) and then his Skill (Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen).
- Switch to Raiden, use her Skill (Transcendence: Baleful Omen).
- Switch to Xiangling, use her Burst (Pyronado) and then her Skill (Guoba Attack).
- Back to Raiden, unleash her Burst (Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu) and go ham with those electro-infused attacks!
- Repeat!
The key is to keep those bursts up as much as possible. Bennett’s buff, Xingqiu’s rain swords, Xiangling’s Pyronado, and Raiden’s electro damage all swirling together… it’s beautiful chaos. And the damage numbers? Insane.
My Verdict? Worth It.
Honestly, this team is so much fun. I was skeptical at first, but after building it and seeing it in action, I’m a believer. It’s not the easiest team to build, but it’s incredibly rewarding. If you have the characters, I definitely recommend giving it a shot. Just be prepared for that artifact grind…

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go vaporize some more Hilichurls. Happy gaming!
