Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of Corpse Husband fanart popping up lately, and I gotta say, some of it is really good. I’m no artist, but I was feeling inspired, so I decided to give it a shot myself. Don’t laugh, okay?
First, I googled some reference images. I mean, you gotta know what you’re drawing, right? I found a bunch of photos of Corpse, mostly screenshots from his streams and stuff. I wanted to capture that mysterious, kinda edgy vibe he’s got going on.

Then, I grabbed my old sketchbook and a pencil. Nothing fancy, just the basics. I started by trying to sketch out the basic shapes of his head and shoulders. Let me tell you, getting the proportions right is HARD. I erased so much that my paper started to look like it had been through a war.

- detail
After a while, I had something that vaguely resembled a human head. Progress! I started trying to add in some details, like his hair (which is always perfectly messy, how does he do that?) and his signature mask. The mask was probably the easiest part, to be honest.
Adding Some Personality
The real challenge was trying to capture his expression, even though you can only see like, half of his face. I focused on the eyes, trying to make them look intense and, you know, mysterious. I think I spent a good hour just fiddling with the eyes.
Once I was kinda happy with the pencil sketch, I went over it with a black pen. This part was terrifying, because there’s no going back once you start with the pen! My hand was shaking a little, but I managed to get some decent lines down.
Finally, I added some shading to give it some depth. I’m not great at shading, but I think it turned out okay. It definitely looks better than my first few attempts, let me tell you.
So, yeah, that’s my Corpse Husband fanart adventure. It’s not perfect, but I had fun doing it, and that’s what matters, right? Maybe I’ll try again sometime and see if I can improve. For now, I’m just gonna admire all the amazing fanart that other people are creating.
