Okay, so I’ve been messing around with different attack strategies at Town Hall 12, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! I started off pretty rough, getting wrecked left and right. But after some trial and error, I’ve finally found a few strategies that work pretty well for me. I figured I’d share my experience, the good and the bad, so maybe you can learn from my mistakes.
The Initial Struggle
At first, I was all over the place. I tried a bunch of random troop combos, throwing everything at the wall to see what would stick. I remember this one attack where I used all PEKKAs and Wizards. Sounded powerful, right? Wrong! I got absolutely demolished. They were too slow, and the defenses just chewed them up. It was a painful 0-star.

Then I went through a phase of trying to copy those pro attacks I saw on YouTube. You know, the ones with perfect funneling and surgical precision? Yeah, that didn’t go so well either. I’d mess up the funnel, my Queen would go rogue, and my troops would just wander around aimlessly. It was frustrating, to say the least.
Finding What Works
After a lot of experimenting (and a lot of lost resources!), I started to figure things out. I realized that I needed to focus on strategies that played to my strengths. I’m not the best at complicated funneling, so I needed something a bit more straightforward. I started to focus on the basics and getting the hang of some core stuff.
- Scouting is Key: I cannot explain how important it is to check out the base. Looking for where the traps, inferno, and other key defenses are.
- Troop Combinations:Don’t use random troops, it is important to use a balance of troops, that have synergy.
- Practice Makes Perfect:The best way to get better is to keep practicing and trying new things. Don’t be afraid to fail because every lose has a lesson in it.
The Go-To Strategies
Here are a couple of strategies that I’ve had consistent success with:
- Yeti Smash: This one is pretty reliable. I usually go with a bunch of Yetis, some Bowlers, and a few Wizards for cleanup. The Yetis tank like crazy, the Bowlers do a ton of damage, and the Wizards pick off those outside buildings. The key is to create a decent funnel so the Yetis don’t go on a world tour. I usually use a couple of Baby Dragons for that.
- Hybrid (Hogs and Miners): This one is a bit more complex, but it’s super powerful. I use a Queen Charge to take out a key section of the base, then send in the Hogs and Miners with a Heal spell to keep them alive. The timing is crucial here, but once you get the hang of it, it’s a beast.
It’s a Learning Process
So, that’s my journey with TH12 attack strategies so far. It’s been a rollercoaster, but I’m finally starting to get the hang of it. I’m still learning and experimenting, but I’m definitely having more fun now that I’m not getting 3-starred every single time. Remember, it’s all about finding what works for you and practicing until you get it down. Don’t be afraid to fail, and don’t give up! Keep practicing, and you’ll be crushing those TH12s in no time!
