Alright, so I got curious about how much money this Penguinz0 guy, you know, Cr1TiKaL, is actually making. I mean, the dude’s hilarious and has been around forever on YouTube, so I figured I’d do some digging. Here’s how it went down:
First, I opened up my browser. Just regular old Chrome, nothing fancy.
Then I headed to a few of those “net worth” websites. You know the ones – they always pop up when you’re trying to find out how rich some celebrity is. I always figure they are not accurate, but I am always very curious.
- I checked a couple of different sites, just to get like the information.
- I look through those websites, they estimate people’s income and net worth.
The numbers were, of course, all over the place. Some sites had him at a few million, others were way higher. It’s tough to know what’s real with these things.
My “Research” (aka educated guessing)
I figured I could get a slightly better idea by looking at his YouTube channel. I mean, the guy’s got millions of subscribers and gets tons of views on every video.
So, I went to his channel page and started poking around. I checked the “About” section, and obviously, they don’t just list their bank account balance there, duh.
I looked at his video view counts. Consistently high. Like, really high. I figure just youtube itself maybe is making good money.
Then I remembered he’s also big on Twitch. I use Twitch a lot, so, I pulled up his Twitch channel. Same story – tons of followers, regular streams. He’s probably raking it in from subs, donations, and ads there too.
Plus, and I remembered about this later, he’s got his own merch. I’ve seen people wearing his shirts and stuff. So, add that to the pile.
I also remember that he has the podcast.
The (Not-So-Scientific) Conclusion
After all this “research,” I didn’t come up with an exact number, It is tough. But, putting all the pieces together – YouTube, Twitch, merch, podcast, maybe some other stuff I’m missing – I think that those net worth sites might be underestimating. It is tough to estimate, and I don’t think he is poor.
Anyway, that was my little deep dive into Penguinz0’s potential fortune. It was more out of curiosity than anything. The guy’s entertaining, so good for him, whatever he’s making!
